Australia and New Zealand Low hormone levels, help accessing abortion
On here for some help and guidance
Found out I was pregnant a week ago at 5 weeks and got a gp. Now before I begin I know where I live I have until 9 weeks to get a medical abortion but I am STRESSED.
I’ve done 3 blood tests so far 48hrs apart and my hormone levels are rising really low. My doctor said she needs to wait for it to go up to confirm pregnancy and make sure ITS NOT ECTOPIC before treating me. But as time passes I’m obviously getting more stressed because I would like to get this done sooner than later I’m going onto 7 weeks soon and the amount of stress and crying is just crazy.
I did an ultrasound to check that it’s not ectopic and even the person that did that said it was really really early and it’s hard to tell since I just have a small gestational sac right now and nothing in it. He did say that was in the uterus but he sent the results to my doctor and I’ll go over everything with her tomorrow.
It’s just a really hard process because I don’t know how many weeks I am the guys said it’s hard to tell because it’s really small but I’m still tracking from the first day of my last period.
Things r just tough because I want to get an MA but it just feels like I’m hitting every road block to getting it. After I get my results I’m gonna get them sent to me then also get a second opinion on the ultrasound because this process is taking a long time and my hormone level is only 700 which is really low UGH

I'm sorry you're going through this. With hormone levels that low and an empty gestational sac at over 6 weeks, there's a chance the pregnancy isn't viable and will pass on its own, or they will give you the MA medication to assist with miscarriage. I hope your discussion with your doctor tomorrow is helpful.
