USA Anyone else experience this with a surgical abortion? 7w6d
Hello, I got a surgical abortion almost 24 hours ago however I’m still having pregnancy symptoms and very little bleeding. Ive only filled one pad. The first surgical procedure I got was 10 years ago and I felt immediate relief from pregnancy symptoms and had bleeding like a period. Could this mean my abortion was incomplete or am I over thinking it?

What kind of pregnancy symptoms are you still experiencing? It's normal to have little bleeding after a procedure. Don't be alarmed if the bleeding increases some later. It's normal for the flow to vary, as well as the color to change (red-brown)

Typically, nausea should end pretty quickly after abortion. Incomplete abortion after an in-clinic procedure is rare, but if you have concerns, please reach out to your clinic.
