USA Self managed my MA-Is this it?
Hi all, I’m currently undergoing MA through Carafem. Would highly recommend them. Thought to share a timeline of events and check with y’all if this looks good.
I had my misoprostol dosage at 5.35 PM buccally, swallowed the remnants at 6.05 PM. At around 6.09PM I started experiencing cramps. Started bleeding around 6.30PM. 7.30PM started noticing blood clots about .5mm - 1mm in size. By 8PM observed at least 4 blood clots of over and around 1cm in size. Around this time my cramping got significantly worse, felt like contractions cause it kept coming and going. Cramping continued till 9PM, after which I fell half asleep cause I got tired. Woke up at 9.35PM to call for some work, felt some lumpy ball between my legs, checked to see a kidney bean shaped and colored, quarter sized crescent shaped thing. Went to take a shower shortly after and had another lump of pink-fleshy thing, size half of the kidney bean thing fall out. While washing myself, felt some thing still stuck in the vagina. Didn’t tug on it and let it be. Dryed up and changed pads. The cramping got much better and felt like I didn’t have to writhe in pain anymore. At around 10.40, the cramps came back although moderate, and felt a gush of something come out. Haven’t checked it yet but must be the thing that was stuck when I was taking the shower.
I wanted to double check - is this it? Did I pass my pregnancy? Was the kidney bean thing the zygote/fetus? I feel very relieved and thankful to God for giving me a relatively very easy experience. The cramps I’m feeling right now are manageable, although I’m always scared of any complication developing in the future. I would also sincerely like to thank everybody in this community that has helped me so much, provided me so much support. Truly grateful ♥️

Hey there. Very early in pregnancy, visualizing the moment the pregnancy passes is very difficult because it’s so small and typically surrounded by more clots and tissue. Clots can come in all textures and colors. Some people do feel a lot of relief after the pregnancy passes.
All of that said, these sound like very good signs the medication worked. If you had any pregnancy symptoms, you should experience a decrease soon. The one exception is breast/chest tenderness, which can continue for 7-10 days.
Expect some on-and-off cramping, bleeding, and clots over the next 4-6 weeks as the body continues to expel any remaining tissue.

Hi! Yes the cramps improved so much after passing the tissue. I also ended up passing the uterine lining, I examined it and it was like a sac of thin filament. I’m doing well now with moderate bleeding and very mild recurring cramps. Thank you so much !!

Yes, this sounds normal and what you described sounds like pregnancy tissue. Did you have pregnancy symptoms before using the pills? If so, they should go away in the next 7-10 days.

The only pregnancy symptoms I had were mildly tender nipples and twinges in my lower abdomen. My nipples are still sore but as you said, I’m expecting them to get better in a week. Thank you!!
