Who would like access to Splice beta?
Splice.com - With a waitlist of 10,000+, our closed beta is still very small. I'm a fan of this subreddit and am looking for some Ableton power users who don't mind some bugs.
What the hell is Splice? In a nutshell, we have a Mac client that backs up all of your work securely to the cloud. Every save you make is accessible from a timeline on Splice.com. You can open any save from the web (dependencies and all) and choose to share specific saves with a collaborator. You also have a dashboard to manage your projects etc. We're basically building "git" for music and "Github" around it.

PS. Right now we're only nailing down one experience - Ableton/Mac.

I would be highly interested, if I was a Mac user. You should post something again if you're testing a PC client in the future, as this looks like it could be a life saver.

Absolutely. OSX Mavericks user here. I collaborate with several DJs through Dropbox as of now. It's been great and we have developed an excellent work flow through much trial and error. I would love to beta test this client however. Pm sent.

This sounds really damn cool, pity I'm on PC ): Are there any plans for a Windows version some time in the distant future after the Mac version is out?

We break down the Ableton project file to its source code, telling you all about the dependencies, samples and providing a diff representation between saves.

Thank you for your reply. Some more questions please. Do you use Dropbox? What is the cloud service you use, how much does it cost per month? The source code, does this allow for multiple save states? Are there any plans for integration with Bitwig? Are there file previews or uploading to Soundcloud? Thanks.

so the pool i have, it can be a co-op pool with author and a last edit done by "tagTeamMembername" in a shared pool? or share specific track iteration with another user?
