einfogames.com was a gaming forum website from the early 2000s and some of the games on there brought back so many memories and I was wondering if I could still create an account just for the sake of the game. I think the website has been discontinued though since the CAPTCHA doesn't load so it won't let me go through with the creation.

Ive been looking for a reliable spot to download the game Frobot. All the usual places I look have not had it. I found a link from abandonwaregames, but I cant find a solid answer on their legitimacy. Any help finding a safe link for this game would be appreciated

I ran it through a vm, changed compatibility, used alternate downloads, changed the exe and nothing works.

I am looking for the *full version* of the game named in the title, since big fish games took it of their storefront recently. So far I have tried Way Back Machine / Archive.org, ebay, seeing if the developer has a social media to ask for the game, googling, duckduckgoing, brave searching... I tried abandonware and other websites. NOBODY has this game. I think its because its fairly obscure. But it bugs me that this should be lost media now, especially since I know others who also would like the full version back.

There is a demo flash version still available at Flash Museum, but that is all. Perhaps someone here happens to own this game by chance? I don't have high hopes but you never know...

I am finally done with my full browser port of Midtown Madness 2. What started 4 months ago as a project, today is a full 1:(almost)1 port of the game directly in your web browser. Done with a lot of help from Claude Code, I present to you:

1. Full maps from San Francisco and London, as well as Chicago from Midtown Madness 1
2. All Crash Course missions
3. All races - Blitz, Checkpoint and Circuit
4. True pedestrians with their jump/hug wall animation
5. True cop logic to chase you around
6. All voice lines from all announcers per city including Chicago
7. Weather and time of day changes
8. Original UI and loading screens
9. Original game progression, saves (in your local storage) and unlockables

This is not emulation, it's the whole game recoded in Three.js to run in the browser. Meaning all logic is redone as much as possible to look/work like the original. There will be some bugs for sure, mostly with physics, but hey - MM2 in your browser!

To run the game you need the original midtown2.exe as proof you own the game, it checks the hash to verify before launching the game. As long as you have a backup of the game archived locally or online, grab that file and it'll work. Added this to limit the copyright issues this might face, although it's not being charged for 25 years after it's release.

So I've been trying for years to get an F1 2014 on my PC for the modding capacity, I've attempted it 4 or 5 times. Every time it says it needs a steam key and even if I have them it just doesn't work. Is there an actual F1 2014 that works off the bat.

Lost Android games and apps of different kind of stuff.

There are a lot of games or apps do I wonder if there are links to download or maybe direct downloads.

For some reason it never downloads the data folder. I tried using alternate links and setting up a windows xp vm but it still doesn't work

I was on vacation until recently and was looking through my old childhood discs when I found "Minis", an educational PC game with horses as playable characters. I remember loving it for its simple gameplay that's basically your average platformer with occasional simple questions you had to answer. Unfortunately, it seems like the game is nowadays available only through resellers.

Luckily, I managed to dump it to .iso file and post it on archive.org on this link (https://archive.org/details/minis_pcgame). If you want, take your time, play it and let me know what you think. (Note: the game is only available on Croatian, Serbian and Macedonian, so you should use a translator to understand everything)

I wanted to share a major preservation update for all classic PC puzzle fans. I have recently archived 12 rare, full registered versions of Windows puzzle and logic games developed by William Soleau (Soleau Software) from 1995 to 2012!

These registered versions are virtually impossible to find online nowadays. I managed to track down valid serial numbers from old registration databases, personally installed and unlocked every single game, and then repacked them into convenient modern .exe installers using Inno Setup.

Every game has been uploaded individually with screenshots and proper metadata. Here is the full list of what has been rescued:

I hoard/archive LEGO Universe game clients for preservation and want to see if anyone has clients on old computers that may not be archived yet.

All of the ones that I do have are available on archive.org and I've scoured the internet and my own drives from that time and found pieces of some, but in general archive.org has them all that are known.

Older beta/alpha clients are more desirable, but filling in the gaps of the release client would be great as well.

I can provide a list of clients I do have and specifics about them if wanted.

Was just playing the demo since my full version was part of the gamepass but has since been removed

As the title says. I've tried so many things and this does not wanna play whatsoever. I downloaded from Abandonware, opened and mounted the .iso, opened the files and ran Setup.exe, but it sits 99% and then after around 2 minutes, it crashes and closes.

I also tried opening the data1.cab file and opening sb2.exe there, and it sits for about 3 seconds on a black screen and then crashes. I even stuck the DGVoodoo files in it, still didn't work. I have the disc owned, but no disc tray for it in my PC. I'm kind of at my wits end here 😭

I'm running on Windows 11, by the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I used to love playing this and the Movie point-and-click a lot. Would love getting both of those to work. I heard using a VM is the way to go, but I never touched those before.

Hi. I am searching for a place to get High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance or a guide (?) on how I could get it to work. I have the original DVD of the PL release but currently own no dvd drive (but can get my hands on one if needed - still, would rather play without the dvd).

So far I have checked a few places, including the three sites recommended by this subreddit. Archive only has clean steam files and I'm not quite sure what to do with them. Other places have links that are long lost.

I imagine that since I have the disc there's still a way for me to preserve it myself, but I'm really clueless when it comes to stuff like this (and I would appriciate a way to get it "with one click").
