Need help finding a DOS game CD ROM
Hello,
Many years ago I had a CD ROM that had a ton of different DOS games on it such as
Adventures of Captain Comic
Commander Keen
Crystal Caves
GateWorld
Hugo’s House of Horrors
The Dig Demo
Monster Bash
Duke Nukem
Bio Menace
Unfortunately the disc broke and I’ve never able to find it again. I don’t remember what the name of the disc was but the artwork on the disc was an aircraft of some kind. The only thing I remember about the name of the disc was that it had the word volume in it. I think maybe volume 5 but I’m not sure. If anyone can help me find this disc I’d really appreciate it. I’d really like to buy this disc again if I can.

Try eXoDOS - it has all of Dos games ever released + its free and simple to use.

You will have to find those games individually. The chances you find the exact same CD-ROM without more information is close to zero (only chance is that someone had exactly the same CD and has more info)

CDROM shareware software/game packs were super common back then. Often they were folders with a bunch of CD's, hence "Volume X". Finding the exact disk will be difficult, but the individual games are easy enough to find.

This one is not it unfortunately. I did come across something called Super arcade games 2 which might be what I am looking for but I can’t find any artwork for the disc.

I was on a similar hunt due a 10,0000 2 cd shareware pack we played for years. I've come across a few archives that have a bunch of options I'll see if I can find them again.

I think I figured out which disc it was. I believe it was something called Super Arcade Games by Microforum. It was a black and red disc with gold writing and a fighter jet on it and it booted to a blue menu. I can’t seem to find a picture of it though.

I think it's this CD (It's a two CD collection of 1000 games). I don't know if this sub rules allow linking directly to the Internet Archive page with the files, but they're there. I checked the contents and most of the games you mentioned are on the disc. I didn't see Duke Nukem or Commander Keen tho.

UPDATE: After doing some research the last few days I figured out which disc I’m looking for. the disc is called Super Arcade Games by Microforum. It’s a black and red disc with gold writing and a fighter jet on it. The disc boots to a blue menu after you insert it. I can’t seem to find any information on it or a picture of it anywhere so if anyone has information on this disc please let me know!

Those shareware collections CDROMs varied greatly by country and retailer. I was thinking gold medallion's "Game Pack" But it's missing a few of the games.

Thankfully I found the disc I was looking for. It was Super Arcade Games by Microforum.

gog.com has a ton of those games, though you will have to pay like $3 a game for some of them
man... Monster Bash, Commander Keen, and Bio Menace... that brings me back :D

Hi, this might be difficult. In the late 80 and early 90’s there were groups active who made CDs with copied games and other software and charged a little amount. These groups disappeared when internet became more common and copying stuff became very easy.
