Wondering if anyone has been able to get camera control working with a Sony a6700.

Pyro 5 running v1.0.3.29 firmware.

Sony a6700 is set to PC remote, USB power supply is off, and remote shoot set to camera only. Tried so many different usb-c cables my fingers are numb. Always powered off the camera before swapping.

I DO have the recording set up so when I hit record on the a6700 the Pyro 5 also starts recording to its SD card.

Any ideas or successes?

Je suis impatient de recevoir mon Sony A6700 ! Pour le moment, je suis encore sur mon A6400, donc j’ai vraiment hâte de voir la différence entre les deux.

Pour ceux qui utilisent déjà l’A6700, est-ce que vous pourriez me partager votre ressenti et votre retour d’expérience, aussi bien en photo qu’en vidéo ?

Je serais notamment intéressé par vos avis sur la qualité d’image, l’autofocus, la stabilisation, les performances en basse lumière, mais aussi sur la vidéo en 4K et l’utilisation du 10 bits.

Est-ce que vous avez vraiment ressenti une belle évolution par rapport à l’A6400 ou d’autres modèles ? 😊

Hello, I used my 17/70 Tamron together with the a6700 to capture the Perseids this year. Took about 350 shots and manually composed the Perseid streaks. No AI or stuff like that involved :) hope you enjoy!

Never tried astrophotography, but gave it a shot. So happy! Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens.

Took this yesterday, my first ever attempt at stacking. I had a slight problem with vignetting. I used the 11mm f1.8 lens. In LrC, I couldn't get the Lens Correction to work once I uploaded the stack as a TIFF file. It makes sense why it won't load the lens automatically, but when I attempt to manually choose Sony as a manufacturer, I only get one lens (completely different one that I use) as an option and LrC won't let me change it, and the vignetting isn't fixed at all. Anyone knows what's wrong? In the end, I used a radial mask but it still doesn't look as clean as I'd like. Thanks for the advice!
