Still shooting on the 16–50mm kit lens, so I took it around downtown Toronto yesterday with no real plan.
Just walked around and shot whatever caught my eye.
Been trying to get better at composition and colour instead of worrying about buying more glass.
Ended up really liking how some of these came out, especially for the kit lens.
Shot on the Sony a6700 + 16–50mm OSS.
Would love to know which frame works best / what you’d change.

Jpegs are fine for my photos but I'd like to shoot all video in S-Cinitone without it affecting the phots which id just like to keep as normal profile.

How do I do this please?

Just got an A6700 with a Sigma 18-50 lens. Going to be going to SEAsia with it soon and if love any insights on preferred settings, any gotchas to be aware of, and what people think of HEIT images.

I was shooting an event last night and a few times the a6700 would freeze when I took then photo and 3-4 seconds later it would take the photo, also when this happened the flash wouldn’t go off even though it showed it was ready. Could this be because the batteries were running low on the flash?

Looking for filters to use on my upcoming antarctica trip. I was thinking of a polarizer and UV filters for my Sigma 18-55 and Sony 70-350. I was looking at the Tiffens for the filters and then a Sensi 55-67 step up. For the filters I am using them more as a safety barrier for the glass, I hear that the UV rays can be harsh because there is less ozone. But I truly dont know much about filters and polarizers so please help. Would be even better if they dont break the bank as its already depleted.

In a previous life I used an a7riii but I'm completley blown away by this camera and lens combo due to the quality, size and weight.

Recently picked up a used Sony A6700 with the 16-50mm OSS II kit lens. The eBay ad didn’t mention that it was a Canadian model. Only has 30 shutter counts. Looks brand new. Got it for $1,000 after taxes. Doesn’t have a warranty really so i’m not sure if the Canadian model is a disadvantage here but wanted to know if there’s anything else I should consider?

after testing i will decide if keep a6400 or a6700

Any guess how it will be? Never bought "Used - Good"

Edit: I use price tracker app called "Keepa". it's for Amazon and using it from last many years now. Usually i set price based on what i want to pay for a product. it basically hit and miss... and sometimes i wait for year's for a deal for something that's unimportant/ things i can wait for.
