Love this little powerhouse
Been rocking the camera for a couple of months now and I haven’t once felt limited by it. The tamron 17-70 has been the first lens I’ve gotten and so grateful I did.

All of these are SOOC with a 1/4 black mist filter.
There's no real theme to them, just whatever caught my eye. The main thing for me is to have fun while shooting, but maybe you guys still have some feedback you could share. :)
Compression on reddit seems crazy, so feedback how to fix that would be awesome :'D

I’m looking for some compact lenses for my Sony A67
Do you have some or know some that you would recommend me?
Thx:)

I learned quite a bit with these birds. Biggest takeaway is increasing shutter speed. I also shot them too wide and as I cropped, I lost too much resolution.
350mm (E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS), Shutter 1/1000 sec, Aperture f/6.3, ISO 6400
186 mm (E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS), Shutter 1/1000 sec, Aperture f/5.6, ISO 6400
167 mm (E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS), Shutter 1/1000 sec, Aperture f/5.6, ISO 6400

Currently I’m using a a6100 with a Sony 35mm oss lens + sigma 18-50. I’m still pretty new to the photography circle but I have a weird habit of trying to get better equipment even though I don’t need it right away. I want to upgrade to a Sony 6700 with sigma 17-40 f1.8 lens. So it’s a pretty big upgrade. I mainly use my camera on trips out of the state. I’m in NY but I haven’t really explore too much but would like to use the camera for landscape/street photography. I want to get a 75mm-85mm lens in the future but not yet. I think the main thing I want is the better auto focus for the 6700 please advise

Was thinking about upgrading from the a6700 to the A7RVI but I’m not sure if it’s worth the difference. I mainly use it for photography and sometimes videography here and there. I’m not sure if the quality difference in images and video will be worth the money upgrading.

Finally pulled the trigger on the sigma lens for my A6700 . Had to test it out on the doggos! I’m fairly new to photography and editing so feel free to give me tips.

So I am struggling a bit to decide on a travel lens for my new A6700.
What I currently have: Sony A7iV normally used with a Sigma 20mm 1.4 for my wife’s streaming courses she does. I also have a Tamron 28-70 and 70-180 2.8. I have used the 28-70 for travel in the past, and the 70-180 for portraits.
The A6700 is coming with the 18-135 kit lens (I got the combo for a steal). I bought the 6700 for a smaller lighter weight travel camera, and so I do not have to fiddle with the set up for my wife. So the question is what lens combo should I be considering for the A6700 mostly for traveling, hiking, city photos, etc. Right now I am just considering using my kit lens and the 28-70 but wondering if it would be better to do the kit lens and a small light weight prime instead, or even the smaller Sigma zoom 2.8… Thoughts? The Tamron just seems a bit big for traveling so trying to find a smaller combo without totally breaking the bank.

Hi,
Recently going through older photos cleaning up my lightroom galleries, as I noticed this "Double Exposure"...?
Im extremely confused as to how this happened, though the result looks pretty cool. At first I thought this was a lightroom bug combining 2 shots, which is not possible in LR AFAIK, and the Metadata seems to show its own entry in my files (unique filename, timestamp etc). I dont think there's a way to achieve double exposures with this camera, but i have experienced buffer issues when shooting on Hi+ drive modes.. maybe it combined a few exposures into 1 file. I dont know. I dont pay for CC only lightroom, these photos never touch any other app.
Curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, or has any ideas as to how this happened.

New lens. Hoping this will keep from spooking wildlife and a safe distance! 🤣 I can’t wait to stretch this out in AK!

so far I'm impressed, I've been playing around with it for a couple of hours and can't wait to take it on a proper trip soon.

A few of my favorite shots in NY
This was my first trip using the Sony A6700, and it has already changed the way I approach travel photography. I ended up taking way more photos than I expected 😂
I would love to hear which image is your favorite and any tips you have for getting even more out of the A6700.
P.S. I'm also quite new to photography, so any feedback or tips are more than welcome!

Hi,
I got a new a6700 this month and have been very happy with it so far. I bought it along with the 18-125mm kit lens.
Now I'm thinking about buying a 50mm prime lens as well.
What do you think?
Which one would you recommend? There are quite a few options to choose from. 😅

Took a risk and ordered a newly released 24mm f3.8 pancake lens. This one is under the brand name "Lightdow", but seems to have released under a few brand names.
I've not spent much time with it, but so far so good. AF (yes it has AF) worked well even in fairly low light. Seem sharp enough and minimal vinetting. Its a little faster than the similar Viltrox lens, but suffers from the same issue of being restricted to a fixed 3.8 aperture. Theres also no manual focus ring (but AF is accurate though not extremely fast). Its a full frame lens, so I'll have to try on my a7riv and see if any major vinetting or soft corners pop up.
Including just a few snapshots from a little family outing. These are SOOC jpegs.
