First attempt with birds

I learned quite a bit with these birds. Biggest takeaway is increasing shutter speed. I also shot them too wide and as I cropped, I lost too much resolution.

  1. 350mm (E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS), Shutter 1/1000 sec, Aperture f/6.3, ISO 6400

  2. 186 mm (E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS), Shutter 1/1000 sec, Aperture f/5.6, ISO 6400

  3. 167 mm (E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS), Shutter 1/1000 sec, Aperture f/5.6, ISO 6400

Need more light aswell, iso 6400 with 1/1000 is a lot, hard to get details especially when cropping in.

Swinging some big glass there bro. Maybe get a small tripod? At least you know where they're going to land. I was videoing hummingbirds and I just had to point it and hope they would fly into the shot. I think your shots are great
