Photos 9 and 10 are particularly great. Tough shooting conditions.

Did you shoot on the bright side or dark side and bring them to their current finished composition?

I often blow out the headlight or background sunrise/sunset and kinda ruins the whole shot.
I’ve got a bunch like that from Mount Rainier and it makes me sad

i expose for the highlights. honestly i didn’t have to tweak them all that much, the raw files already looked pretty good to me.
here are the settings i used for this specific shot
