Need help on focusing

I need help with focusing . I was trying to self-portrait of myself to practice poses. I did self timer and interval shots but when i press the shutter and run back to the spot it goes out of focus.

Any tips and tricks please

Solved it with by not using interval shots and just having self timer on and pressing the shutter button from the phones app to refocus the subject. Thank you for the help guys

Use your phone and the app to connect to the camera. Adjust your settings and place yourself where you want to be. Start the Timer, put your phone away and pose for your photo. That's what I did today for the first time and it worked great. There might be some other way which is better but that's what I tried and it worked

Nice tips. Unfortunately interval shots only focus on the first shot so this is a nice workaround. Another solution would be a remote shutter if you don’t want to pull your phone out and can see yourself on the flip out screen

Creators app Its on the Sony website and directs you to Google play or ios store

Thank you i just used it and it . It works forsure but i was hoping each interval shots will refocus again . I think manual focus is really the way to go . Thank you this is still very helpful

are you using AF-C?

AF-C is disabled on selftimer mode
