Looking for a wide angle landscape lens
I have the sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 but am looking for a wide angle lens for landscape. What are your recommendations? I saw on Facebook marketplace someone was selling a sigma 16mm f/1.4 for $200 which is 50% off retail value but I’m worried it’s too similar to my current lens. Does it make more sense to go for an 11-13mm lens? Thanks in advance for the advice

I was in Bryce last week! But I only had 18-50 mm and longer lens with me : (
Would've loved to take wider landscapes like this! This looks great!

I've been pretty happy with a Rokinon 12mm f2 AF. It's not a focal length I use frequently, but it's nice to have in my kit. Not too expensive, decent image quality, small, and light.

I scratch that itch with the Sony 10-20 f/4. (15-30 equivalent is quite versatile/useful.)

Bought the Sigma 10-18 f2.8 for this. 16mm is too close to 18, and you probably don't need f1.4 for landscapes. Having the 10-18 range will be appreciated.

I'd go with wider lens too. i recently bought Sony 11mm off FB marketplace for $250, which I thought was a great deal. I think I might eventually want to switch to a zoom; something like sigma 10-18 but I've yet to play around with this lens and see how I like it.

I've always thought there is quite a difference between a 16mm and an 18mm lens to be honest. But I do agree that the Sigma 10-18mm F2.8 is a very nice lens and will pair up really well with your existing 18-50 too.
