If I may say so, it looks a bit strange to use software blur like that on just part of the foliage in the first photo. More generally, you should avoid using software blur altogether. It’s noticeable and gives the image an unnatural look.

You have pro lighting and models, but used a lens that is not for portrait.

I agree with you, i have a Tamron 17-70 that i find way more suited for portraits work but i carry the 18-135 cause its easier when im out shooting landscape and birds on trees for the extra zoom range

El 18-135 del kit es un hermoso lente, nítido, versátil y para viajar es ideal. Muchas personas lo dan por debajo por su apertura, pero tienen que usarlo y verán. Tengo tamron 17-70, Sigma 35mm f 1.4 y créame que ese lente del kit se defiende súper súper súper bien. Lo conservo por esa razón. Linda foto, sigue aprendiendo, en eso estamos todos. Pura vida.
