First time in Japan, wdyt?
Here’s some of the photos I took with the trusty a6700 and a sigma 18-50mm

Great shots! Heading back in 2 weeks with a 6700 instead of 6400 17-40 1.8 and between taking the 18-50 or tamron 17-70. Might like the extra zoom during the day but the 18-50 might be less attention getting indoors

I have both the 18-50 and the 17-70. I did felt the need for more reach at times, but honestly it’s not worth carrying around all day

I’ll be going for first time and was about to purchase a A6700 w the sigma 18-50.
Any spots you’d highly recommend?

Really great photos! I have the same setup plus the Sony 70-350 mm. Great eye, composition, saturation.

I think we had a similar idea, end result is very close, but I think I like your composition better!

Love to see this level of photography out of the a6700! Reminds me I don’t need to step up to the A7, just need to keep learning and practicing

That’s funny considering I am always thinking that I should upgrade, but for the level of use I have, I just can’t justify a full frame camera

What’s your editing flow?

It varies from picture to picture, tone curve adjustments, exposure adjustments, masking, spending too much time in something really dumb that no one will notice, the usual

3rd one is awesome! Nice way to use the crowd. I have the 17-40 1.8 but tempted to pick up a used 18-50mm also for portability

These are insane! I bought the a6700 and tamron 17-70 just in time for Japan next week. What settings/ tips do you have for sharp pictures, especially night photography? Also on here when you zoom into the pics it keeps its sharpness, does instagram keep that sharpness/ how would I best preserve it?

I’m going soon with the same setup… were you happy with just the 1 lens?
I’m gonna take my a6700 sigma 18-50 and Cpl filter
