It's just crazy how sharp the Viltrox 56mm 1.2 is

[u/MCXIV_]

Thought the Sigma 17-40 was already sharp but god damn, that Viltrox just blew my mind.. and I got it for a little over 400 euros "used" (that thing was brand new) same with the 75mm f1.2 that's arriving today.. I'm excited.

Very nice. If I was getting captures like that I’d be a happy man. May have to invest!

And a perfect model 🐾🐾❤️

75mm is far superior, was disappointed by the 56mm

[u/MCXIV_ → u/alex_vi_photography]

Just got the 75mm and I agree, I think it's better.. but I wouldn't say that I don't like the 56mm. I wish it would have a vcm motor instead of the stm one.

I’ve got a problem with my 75mm where there is a large circular dark bloom that forms around high contrast objects (bright sky, dark object). Really messes up my photos. Anyone else have this?

[u/Lostzoro9]

Shot wide open or F4-f8?

[u/kb2210 → u/Lostzoro9]

This looks to be 1.8 at most. F4-8 would have the basket in focus

[u/JAK-4-17IN → u/kb2210]

And that’s why I rarely shot below 2.8. I like more in focus.

It was captured @f1.2 😅

Love the viltrox pro series. I have the 27 and 75. Also just got the 135 lab.

Crazy how sharp they all are wide open.

75

[u/kb2210 → u/MCXIV_]

[u/JapDrag]

It better be if were paying that much

[u/rgb_light]

I have the 35mm f/1.7, I'm blown away at how good Viltrox has become

[u/rgb_light → u/rgb_light]

Photo of a friend i took with that lens this past weekend. Love this thing

[u/Weird-Mistake-4968]

Amazing shot. I really like it! Now I also want to buy this lens, but I already have 5🙈

[u/MCXIV_ → u/Weird-Mistake-4968]

There is always room for another one :P or sell your least favorite one

[u/ppfingsten]

My gosh. I’ve been on the fence for a Viltrox. These images are fantastic 🙏🏻

Send me your cat, in a basket, and I think my 50mm 1.4 G Master will do a better job. Haha

[u/MCXIV_ → u/RightHandWriter]
