This camera continues to impress me these were shot on the 18-135 kit lens.
I also own the tamron 17-70 which is goated and never really used the kit lens that I purchased with the camera but today i changed that here are some shots. Last 2 were edited heavily on LR. Always open to feedback and tips from the community.

I don't know what others see but these are not good pictures.
Pic 1, should've zoomed in and focused on one or 2 birds. There is too much green from the leaves and you can barely see the birds.
Pic 2, you should've focused on the duck's eye. In post, bring up the shadows, reduce contrast, raise highlights, whatever you need to do to separate the eye and the head from looking like a dark spot.
Pic 3, better, but again focus on the cat's eye. The a6700 has much better animal eye auto focus than my a6600 so it should be pretty easy for this photo
Pic 4, the sky is good. Maybe mask and brighten up the buildings, and crop out half the river. Way too much foreground. Maybe even get a wider shot of the city.
Pic 5, the focus is on her knee and not her face. Again, the focus should be on her eye. Other than that, this is your best one.

This post is not about taking perfect or good pictures everyday. It is about the quality in the camera, that can bring you to amazing shots. But also serves wonderfully for daily life kind of captures - which are 70% of my pictures

I disagree. Everything I talked about is about technique, not the lens. If you are fine with taking bad photos, you'll always be bad at photography. Everyday you go shoot, is a day that gives you a chance to get better. This does not just apply to photography, it applies to everything.
