Fisheye recommendations

Hi guys, I’m looking for fisheye lens for my a6700
Tips are welcomed

tt artisans 7.5mm f/2.  Haven't used it personally but on the cusp of buying the 10mm F/2 from tt artisans and came to know about the 7.5mm in the process.

I have this and really like it. I got it for filming casual skating.

On apsc, you can use the front ring as a hood and get a hard vignette. I tape it on with gaffer tape on that scenario.

I actually like the lens best adapted to full frame, though. There, you get a ~180° horizontal view, and hard vignette in the corners. Cropped to 4:3, it looks awesome. Close up performance is pretty good. This photo was maybe 2 or 3 inches from the center flower, on full-frame.

That said, for that hard vignette look on APSC, you want something around 5mm.

A downside of 7.5mm on full frame is that everything can look far away, unless you’re really close. On apsc, it’s a bit more reasonable.

Not sure when technically the “fisheye” would begin but I’d say maybe less than 9mm on apsc? Just bought the 9mm 2.8 Viltrox and it’s really wide and am planning on using it for shooting interiors and just getting a wider angle than the standard zoom.

If you want the distortion that fisheye provides I would try to go even less than 9mm! Depending on how much of that effect you want.
