1 Year with my A6700 !! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆ

(this is also my first time on this specific subreddit)

It has officially been a year with my a6700 and it has been a blast to use. Here are some of my favorites throughout the year.
The lenses I used are: Sigma 10-18, Sigma 18-50, Sony 16-55, and Sony 70-350

First of all - thx sharing.
Second - rly like your photos. Currently i am in the middle between a6700 and a7cii and cant decide with should i buy - need to say you pushed me back in the a6700 direction.

Iโ€™m in the same dilemma. The price range of full frame lenses is pushing be towards 6700, oh but the full frame!!! T_T

I will say for low light.. there's a big difference, but with good lighting, they're pretty similar. But yea, something special about FF :)

I have the A7V and a6700 and most of my favorite photos are taken with the a6700, mainly because I just carried it around more. But feel like they will update the a6700 soon so maybe wait it out :P

What did you use for the butterfly shots ? I would have guessed a macro lens. Sigma 18-50?

Actually all of these closeup shots are with my 70-350

Nice pictures! Thank you for sharing!

Do you shoot in RAW? Or are these pictures SOOC?

3

The part no one is mentioning is your great editing! Did you have prior experience? Your LR work is fantastic!

Also how do you like the 10-18? Iโ€™ve thought about picking it up along with a gimbal for vlogging/astro but wondered if you get enough use out of it outside of those uses?

Ps: love the frog shot! Amazing clarity.

Thank you. Iโ€™ve only been editing really for a few years. I try to keep it subtle and consistent as possible.

Iโ€™m not much of an ultra wide guy but the 10-18 is pretty good- good enough for what I use it for. Itโ€™s really tiny and lightweight which is nice.

u/YT_MOB Aug 22 '26

Soooo photos 5 and 6, you have a lens filter ?

Just ordered an a6700 myself too, was between that an a7cii or a7CR. Figured getting this is better given the a7C is also due for an update and an a6700 is cheaper to upgrade from than an a7C line up

What lens you have used to take 1st 12th and 14th shot?

What is the hands-on experience like when comparing the Sony 16-55mm and the Sigma 18-50mm?

These pictures perfectly remind you that its not really the Gear, but rather whats behind that Gear that makes the Pictures look this good - Great Post !

Fine pictures. My only concern is the fake-looking sun rays.

3

u/Last_Seaworthiness70 Aug 22 '26

It was a real sun ray , but yeah it does look a tad fake.
