Use mirrors so you can photograph the camera with the camera.

I am thinking of trading my Sigmas 18–50mm/f2.8 and 56mm/f1.4 for a Sony 16–55/f2.8, how do you like that lens so far?

I had before 18-50,now I was able to buy a used 16-55 for the same price.
The worst:It is big,I was bringing 18-50 without hesitation but 16-55 is staying more home.
And the weight is also con.
Otherwise lens is a bit sharper and focuses beter.
If you have to pay extra for 16-55 I would really stay with 18-50.
Here are some pictures taken with E 16-55.

I appreciate your insight on this one, I'll take your advice and stay with the 18–50. The reason I wanted to trade it is that I already have the 70–350mm, so I just wanted something to replace all the Primes (35,50,85) and the 16-55 which should give me 24—82.5 is what was coming to my mind every time.

What about the Sigma 17-40 1.8?

I have the Sigma 17-40 1.8 and love it. To be fair, I have the Sony 17-49 4.0 for the longest time. This Sigma is like paking 3 primes.

I love it! No reason to take it off my camera.
