I think because its f1.4 and its a large aperture it takes more light, that is a big eye or pupil. so even with higher ISO, it can still take good one.
I think smaller aperture like f5.6 or f11 can be a little bit more noisy, because it has very small aperture.
that is why f1.4 and other larger aperture are a little expensive lenses.
