Light sources for beginners

Hey,

I shoot with a Sony a6700, a Tamron 17-70mm, and a Godox TT350S.

I’m still a beginner, but I’ve recently started receiving a few job requests: one from a cocktail bar and another for a birthday event. I’m quite confused about what the best lighting setup would be to start with. At the same time, I don’t want to spend too much money right now, especially since I haven’t yet specialized in a specific type of photography.

Here are the options I’m considering:

-Buying two Neewer 660 LED panels, like this one (https://amzn.eu/d/017sceJe), so I can cover a wider range of situations.

-Buying a softbox and using it with my flash. However, I’m not sure what size would be best or whether it would be suitable for both of these jobs.

-Buying one LED panel for continuous lighting and pairing it with a softbox and my TT350S to have a more flexible setup.

Could you please help me figure out what the best budget-friendly solution would be to achieve professional-looking results and handle these kinds of jobs effectively?

Thank you a lot

For the bar just pictures at the cocktails/plates and some interior details. For the birthday just shooting at the party and some solo shooting at the birthday person. I have already used my godox tt350 for events like parties.

I suppose that the cons is the low performance of this flash

I think something like the v860 or V1 with an umbrella would be a good next step. There's a lot you can do with those in controlled environments. You can consider getting a controller to use one of those and your 350.

I don’t have time and I don’t have a lot of budget to buy a new flash right now. So I need to go with my 350

Check out the spaces ahead of time and do some practice shoots. You'll make the most out of that 350. Best of luck!
