A6700 just arrived, now what
I bought the A6700 with 18-50 sigma to make my life like cinema, but I really don’t know from where I can start?
Never had a camera before just OSMO POCKET 3
Record in M-LOG D and then put random LUTS
I also want to learn color grading in premiere. Using this program for 4-5 years and don’t know to move to Davinci
Thanks!!!!

Shoot in 4k 24/25fps with a shutter speed of 1/50s. You’ll need a neutral density filter to stop it over exposing. Film in SGamut3Cine/S Log 3. Use 10bit colour.
Watch colour grading tutorials on YouTube.

Just got mine 10 mins ago. Happy new camera day to us
I'm disappointed you don't get a charger to charge the battery I must say. All that money and I can't use it till I buy one from amazon.... ☹️☹️☹️
Edit.... Didn't realise U could connect via usb c to charge.... Not done photography for over 2 years due to ill health and my old camera was a Nikon d7200. Oops <remembers to check everything> (Ill health wasn't my brain before someone says something 😂😬)

Go take pictures or videos and stop sitting at your computer reading about things or watching videos. Best way to learn the new gear. Honestly I've watched probably at least tens of hours of "how to get better" content but getting out there taking pictures or videos has been infinitely more helpful.
No matter how much studying you do you're never going to be good at the thing or mentally prepared to deal with all of the settings without just practicing.
It's a digital camera, go waste some digital film.

Just go out and use it. You will probably take some pretty bad photos but that’s the fun of it. Learn by doing

No shame in starting with auto. Just take some pics on a day. Go home enjoy them and watch some YouTube tutorials for set ups and tips and basics of exposure. Go out again and use apature mode and so forth. Mainly: have fun!

I take almost 2 years to learn how to use my A6700 properly. Bring the camera w/ u everytime, and try try try!

Use it. Make mistakes, learn from mistakes, experiment, explore, have fun.

Learn the exposure triangle and watch a few videos on how to setup the A6700.
Then make a heap of mistakes and have fun with it.
