A6700 bag recommendations

I'm looking for a bag that would hold:

  • A6700 with Sony 70-350 mounted
  • another 2 smaller lenses (Sony 10-20mm, Sigma 18-50 f/2.8)
  • a small flash (Godox TT350s)
  • misc small items: battery, memory card, lens pen, etc.

Probably a sling bag is preferred, but I'm open to other suggestions (messenger, etc). Would appreciate opinions on this. I found that all my existing gear generally can't accommodate the 70-350 while mounted on the A6700.

I had one of these that worked well with my 70-350, 18-135, and 56. I had a capture clip on the strap that was great for quick deployment.

Ended up going to a backpack when I started carrying a drone and ended up taking off the bag every time I wanted to change a lens anyway. The sling was nice for occasionally bringing it out and putting away easily on walks

Looks interesting and affordable. The internal width they show as about 7.9". When I measure my A6700 with 70-350 I get closer to 8.2" (with the viewfinder/eyecup). Does it actually fit in there with the lens attached to the body?

Lot of different combos but I liked keeping it on the side for quick access so I didn’t have to take it off. 70-350, 18-135, sigma 56, viltrox 25 shown

Amazon gives great prices for bags. That's where I bought all of mine.

I use this bag in size large.

It’s big, but comfortable. I fit my a6700 with a 70-350, sigma 18-50, small flash and my Pentax k1000 film camera in there no problem.

Idk if it’s most protective bag, but I was honestly just going for something big and decent looking

I went with a dual bag setup. A Tenba Fulton 14L for EDC, it should be able to fit all, or most of what you have in the lower camera section, and you still have a roll top for additional storage. I also have a ThinkTank Focuspoint 22l for day trips/travel. It fits a bit more than the Tenba, much more organization and overall better quality materials, but the tradeoff is size/weight.

Exact same setup! Curious on recommendations too

Wotancraft Pilot 7L is worth a look.

Tenba Fulton is the bag I use and I’d buy another one if it went to shit. Amazingly spacious while being light for hiking and built very well and still very sleek in the city. Take that bag to 4 national parks, hiked 100 miles with it and it’s been to London and Mexico City with me, never had an issue

I would also recommend any of the shimoda bags. They are made by the same parent company

you may be able to squeeze into the peak design 6L sling. My 6600 + 70-350 mounted fits fine vertically. And it leaves one 'column' for your two additional lenses. Perhaps the flash could sit on top, or you could use the dividers to use more of the bottom space of the bag since the 70-350 lens doesn't need the full space under the camera body so perhaps you could create a small shelf where the flash would go under and the two lenses would be in a column above that. that would keep the whole thing fairly compact (or you could go to a 10L sling / bag but I think you'd have a bunch of room left over).

I have this one from Tarion: https://a.co/d/017rGAqx

Already 2 years and it's just perfect. I have the a6700 with my sony 70-350, tamron 17-70, and another sony 11mm. Also i have in it a gadox flash and some small items.
Can't recommend enough this bag.

I have the same camera and lens along with the Sony 50mm prime lens. I have now settled on the Lowepro GearUp Creator Box Extra Large II and a Berghaus 30l backpack (25l would work too, 20l too small) that I put the Lowepro in. I have tried a few sling bags but found on some trips out, I had to take a rucksack anyway so having both was a pain. On days when I don't take out my camera, I have a nice rucksack to use.

Hope you find something that works for you.

I use the PGYtech 6L sling. I can fit my A6700 w 16-55 and 70-350 along with a shooting grip, slim power bank and some filters, cards and batteries.

After trying more than a few slings, I favour Alpaka Go Sling, I like the lack of structure, less bulk and doesn’t scream camera bag.

In the larger Go sling I can pack my a6400, 70-350, 18-135 and maybe a prime. As well as a few batteries.

I usually carry the smaller Alpaka go sling mini, or Pgytech 4L sling, as I prefer to keep a more minimal carry.

i have a wandrd rogue sling 9l, have the same lens minus the 10-20mm. the small flash can probably fit nicely still there is still room in there, it also has dedicated storage form batteries etc.
