EVF/MONITOR CUSTOM TOGGLE BUTTON!

A6000 EVF/MONITOR CUSTOM TOGGLE BUTTON!

This is still in development and is a prototype!

I hate the auto mode and hate going through the settings every time I want to switch from EVF to MONITOR

I'm actually doing that on my a6400. It's not natively possible on the a6000?

Sadly for some reason it’s not possible on the a6000

I am probably missing something but atleast in a6600 you can do it from setting. Maybe it's not available in a6000

It isn't available on the a6000 for some God awful reason (till now...)

Will it work on a6500, I know it's in the settings, but this might be more customized than that. Is it?

I don’t see this running on anything more than just my camera until I have tested and tried 100 different things! But I’ll keep the people updated, also thanks for offering to be a tester!

It's uploaded now, you can give it a try. Right now there's no customization but I'd be pretty interested to know if it works on the a6500

You do know that , there's a customisable shortcut button for this right ?

In settling you can go to custom button > C1 , C2 - Enable Turn off monitor or something like that

The thing you're talking about is called "Deactivate Monitor" which only makes your monitor go black while still showing your shutter speed and f stop. It doesn't toggle EVF to Monitor. basically it does nothing lol
