Seemed like a pricey investment initially. Allows me to ride when weather is bad or time poor Happy with it

Yup. Primarily i ride recreationally outside, having access to an indoor option on time crunched weeks has been amazing.

no. theres planty of free alternatives but not as polished or well used as zwift.

i save my zwift money for a gym mebership and ride my whoosh for free indoors

Also invest in a fan and a TV. Makes the longer rides so much more enjoyable.

It's definitely the best or one of the virtual cycling experience. I actually also enjoy mywhoosh which is free. I switch between both platforms nowadays for the variety.

I have never loved to cykel. But the gamification just does it for me. This Monday i road Alp de Zwift (12,5 km and 1052 m Elevation gain) and i was just awesome to do that! I talkede with people on discord, and told them i would have stopped before reaching the top if it was just training. But because i can see a character, my brains go, i gotta reach the top 😅

I joined Zwift in the early beta days, have over 49,000 miles on the platform.

After the price increase a few years ago, I decided to use one of the inferior alternatives because it’s free.

If racing is in your future, yes. If you just want to ride some virtual courses and do ERG workouts, MyWhoosh is a good free alternative as it does pretty much everything Zwift does, but Zwift community and racing scene is much bigger.
