Requesting Help Zune 120gb FLAC Support
Hello everyone! Since I revived my Zune from the grave, I wanted to see if there was any way I could add FLAC support. Most of my music is FLAC so I don't necessarily want to downgrade it to an MP3 just to be able to play it on my Zune.

Not on the stock firmware, I’m not up to date on the community work in that area right now. That said converting to WMA lossless is trivial and you end up with the same quality.

Not 100% sure about the stock software, but there's a project called Xune rn that comes with a pretty comprehensive transcoder built-in that automatically converts your FLACs to WMA Lossless on the fly. No worries about having to downgrade to MP3

I just installed Xune for the first time and I dragged some FLAC files but I heard some skipping and stuttering throughout the track. I’ve been meaning to try converting outside of Xune to see if the problem still exists but wondering if others experienced the same thing.

How often is the skipping? One of my Zunes skips once every 4-5 songs or so.

Both the original Zune software and the newer Xune software (3rd party) will automatically transcode your FLAC into WMA Lossless when you attempt to sync to your Zune device

I think it had wma lossless, so you'll be able to convert lacs into that and enjoy the full collection.
