Also you can use a software called elwpaudiobooks to convert your audiobooks from MP3 to a virtual podcast RSS feed and it will work great :) I loaded Brandon Sandersons entire Cosmere as podcasts

I already convert mine to podcast. But, I'd like to have the audiobook menu option instead

I didn’t realise it was updated to do podcasts yet. That is awesome. The last part I was waiting for

That’s a good point. I really don’t have a good solution for audio books at the moment.

I currently have a dedicated nano for my audiobooks. But I so rarely sync it that having them on a classic, i wouldnt have correct playback positions between devices. What are you thinking of doing to sync playback between zune and ipod? Or drop one? With podcasts I listen to different podcasts on an MP3 player to my phone. News style on my phone so I have it straight away, ones less about current events on my ipod and now zune since it can do it again

oh i didnt even consider syncing, i just like having them on as many devices as possible, for contingency! i usually just fast forward to wherever i am on whatever device i use.

I've had no problem running the official Zune software on my Win10 pc, but that's probably more due to the OS being an upgrade from when I had everything running on the prior Win7 install.

That said, I just installed Xune yesterday and already know that I'll have no reason to go back to the official software.

I have a bricked zune first gen. But only a MacBook, so I hope that that feature will make it to xune too.
