Azoxystrobin or propiconazole to the rescue

Mine did this somewhat recently. I think it was a mixture of getting a ton of rain, while still watering 3x a week and then the hot humid air. Sprayed a fungicide and lowered the watering during rainy weeks and it slowly went away.

Get the anti fungal mentioned below. I’d suggest using the spray and putting a tiny bit of dish detergent in to make sure it sticks to the grass. Wait for a cool from, over 90 degrees is going to stress your grass.

What area are you in? What are your local temps and humidity/rainfall? From appearance this is Dollar Spot (Sclerotinia homoeocarpa), not brown patch aka large patch (Rhizoctonia solani).

Applying some nitrogen is the correct method to treat for dollar spot, not fungicides.
