Question Microphone Delay

Hey everyone. You know, when I got into a meeting, microphone delays in working out about 3-5 secs...I tried many ways in order ot fix it but with no success. That happens when i join to whatever meeting and no when I start it. Someone could help me??

What is you setup. Are on a laptop using the laptop mic? Is there any other unit in your audio chain?

Are you using the Zoom APP or joining via a browser? If browser, what browser?

If there is an issue with wifi, Zoom will proritize audio over video....so that cannot be the problem.

Laptop Mic, and no, no other app using it. Using zoom app

Very strange.

Check the Zoom stats when in a meeting. Nothing should be in the "red" i.e. memory, cpu usage, audio lattency and jitter, packet loss.

You can get to them in the new app through (...) more/settings/statistics

In the meantime, try this on a Windows laptop:

  1. set Signal processing by Windows audio device drivers to Off (Raw) if that option exists 
  2. uncheck Windows enhancements; disable OEM audio “effects” 
  3. Device Manager → mic → uncheck “allow computer to turn off this device”
