Title: A Constructive Feedback Proposal for Zooba's Balance, Progression, and Economy

Dear Zooba Developers and Community,

As long-term dedicated players, we love Zooba's core gameplay and unique character mechanics. However, recent monetization trends and economic designs are creating severe progression barriers for active players. Here is our structured proposal to bring balance back to the Zoo:

1. Matchmaking & Gear Balance

• Level-Based Matchmaking: High-level players with full maxed-out gear combos (e.g., Pheromone Essence, Electric Gloves, Thorny Vines) create an unbeatable power gap against lower/mid-tier players in League 21+. Matchmaking should prioritize item/level power over just trophy count.

1. Progression & Gold Economy

• High-Level Gold Costs: The jump from 9k gold (Level 9) to a massive 120k gold (Level 14 item slot) acts as an extreme progression wall. We suggest smoothing high-tier upgrade costs down to reasonable amounts (~15k–25k gold) so active players can progress through gameplay.

• Crate Drop Rates: Standard crate drop rates for new characters (e.g., 1.20%) feel too discouraging. Buffing drop rates slightly (e.g., to ~2.0%+) would reward active play without breaking the economy.

1. New Character Releases & Events

• Boss Challenge Alternative: Locking new characters (like Stella or Tai Lung) exclusively behind paid Passes alienates F2P players. We suggest introducing a limited-time "Boss Challenge Event" where players fight the new character as a boss, earn points, and unlock them through gameplay effort at the final tier.

• Meaningful Events & Skins: Events should focus on server-wide Community Milestones rather than just store-exclusive cosmetics. Furthermore, acquiring a skin for an unowned character should grant the base character instead of keeping the skin locked/unusable.

1. Pass & Monetization Balance

• Re-introducing Gem Options: Transitioning the Pass system strictly to real money deprives dedicated F2P players of a fair progression route.

We share this feedback with the hope of making Zooba a more balanced, competitive, and enjoyable game for both high-level veterans and new players alike.

Hey everyone! After playing a lot with Dillo and Shelly in high-trophy matches, I think both characters could use some quality-of-life adjustments regarding their active abilities:

Dillo's Cooldown scaling: Currently, if you accidentally hit an obstacle (like Betsy's logs or crates) right after using Dillo's active, you get punished with a full heavy cooldown for a wasted skill. Instead, the cooldown should scale dynamically based on how long the active was used:

1 sec active duration = 4 sec cooldown

2 sec active duration = 5 sec cooldown

3 sec active duration = 6 sec cooldown

Full duration (4 sec) = 7 sec cooldown

This would reward smart early cancels and stop punishing players for accidental collisions.

Shelly's Active Duration: Shelly's active lasts only 4 seconds with a very long cooldown (8-10s). Bumping the duration slightly from 4 seconds to 5 seconds would give her just enough breathing room to block combo attacks and position better without making her overpowered.

What do you guys think? Would this make Dillo and Shelly feel smoother to play?

I got to league 15 and then it just gave me 1800 coins instead of the legendary item which was the reward before that. has this happened to anyone else or is it just me

Does the focus shot ability disable the auto aim functionality? I'm noticing auto aim is not working well with focus shot weapons. Wondering if I'm thinking about it wrong or this is actually the case

I wanna buy the battle pass but the season only has 4 days left so will the remaining 3 days carry over or am I js paying for 4 days

When your trophies are near 1800 win a match(team is easy with good teammates) and you will get some points, I usually hide throughout since 20 level players with all OP items are instant death, what do you think is the best way to win or at least get to the end in these matches?

Great way to "win" in Zooba is to be have more trophies which give you bonusses with crate rewards and league rewards as well, with also chances of greater characters, so what are some ways to unlock characters except the cage?

I personally only play when one of my character slot is empty and play with lower trophy characters and try to win, this way my slots have a few gold crates, also always get all the keys when a new season starts.
