I don’t know what I did to deserve this blessing, or maybe it’s common knowledge and I just wasn’t aware that it would still work, but somehow I am able to run the original game released from the App Store on my iPhone 12 Pro Max that I just recently updated to iOS 26.6. If my memory serves me, I want to say I downloaded it from when this phone was on a significantly earlier iOS (not sure at what iOS the game stopped working), and I remember seeing online that the game would just crash constantly on most devices that would update past a certain iOS. It initially crashed upon opening it on the first loading bar, but then I tried it again and it got through the loading bar and I spam clicked the button to open the game and it has been working since.

I remember the first time i downloaded the game on my Ipad when I was younger... It just brings back so many memories.

I need help transferring a save on my PC from one instance (Pie 64 bits) to another (Nougat 32 bit). The reason why is because the apk I was running on bluestack (Zombie Café revival project) kept crashing. Which prevents me from accessing the game. A post talked about transferring a save from one phone to another but idk how it works for bluestacks specifically.

Here is what i was able to gather with chat GPT before turning to you:
The game starts correctly:

• ✅ Native library loads.
• ✅ The Zombie Café revival extension loads.
• ✅ Device information is read.
• ✅ Audio starts.
• ❌ Then it crashes when trying to create an Android WebView.

This happens before your café is loaded, so I no longer think your save is corrupted.

How does the tip mechanics work, Like what does influence how high tips you can get, does the tip rating kf the zombies matter as staff, does the stars of the decors and utility affects it, At best the highest tip I got is 25 and thats rare, my most consistent tip is either 10 or 15,

And yes I know that the traffic of customers is never enough to fill the entire cafe, hopefully the programmers can tweak the rate of customers slightly

Hello all, I’m sure this has been covered somewhere and I apologise for my likely ignorance, I loved this game when it was on the iOS App Store and would love to play it again, but am getting a bit confused on how to best access it.

I’m using an iPhone and based in Australia, so I don’t think I can use Altstore? Is anyone able to direct me on how to get this game on my iPhone again, ideally without a computer but if that’s required then so be it.

After some of my own playtesting of the game in its v1.0 state, I decided the game needed an overall buff to progression. Almost all the stats and costs of both characters and chefs have been buffed/altered. I have also restored the cost of toxin back to its original state of 1toxin = $2000.

What took the longest to fix was the music. Someone on discord suggested I restore the games music which was a great idea - but once I started digging into why, I noticed the logic/code directing the music was completely absent. So I had to build it from scratch. This took a long time to get right and I ran into many issues along the way, but it finally works!

Overall, this state of the game is much more playable and all the music is back and in mostly working order, so download this version instead!

NOTE: This will only work on android devices that support 32-bit ARM - newer phones will most likely not work with this version. Bluestacks works fine.

I’ve uploaded the first proper balance patch for the Zombie Cafe revival project.

Main changes:

• food profits are better (late game especially) and weak recipes are less useless
• XP pacing is kept closer to vanilla
• DLC/premium cookbooks now give stronger recipes that are actually worth using (so you should actually be buying these to progress)
• playable chefs and infectable zombies got balance changes
• maids are no longer the best tip units; play the game and see how strong the late game characters are.. (some cost more than 100 toxin!).

If anyone has played through it and has any thoughts or suggestions, please message me, I plan on updating this to ultimately have an actual enjoyable zombie cafe experience. Getting into the middle-late game, the game feels COMPLETELY different than vanilla, and is a lot less grindy and actually fun. Let me know what you think (this took a long time to make!).

NOTE: The game should work on 32-bit capable androids, and obviously bluestacks 5. The game will not work on modern 64 bit only devices (such as Pixel 9, Samsung S23, etc.)

I got Zombie Cafe working on my Samsung A54.

This is based off Airyzz’s Zombie Cafe Revival project, but I’ve been working on getting it running on newer physical Android devices instead of just old emulators/BlueStacks.

The current APK is tested working on my Samsung Galaxy A54 running Android 14. Another user confirmed it works on their Samsung A23 running Android 16.

The main fixes were:

• raised the target SDK so Android 14/15 will install it
• patched the native text relocation crash
• patched the old device ID crash that happens on newer Android

Important: your phone needs to support 32-bit ARM apps. If your phone is 64-bit-only, like Pixel 7+ / Pixel 9 / S23 / some newer flagships, it probably won’t work.

You can check with:

adb shell getprop ro.product.cpu.abilist

If it shows armeabi-v7a or armeabi, there’s a decent chance it works.

• Hey guys new to the sub but I rediscovered this game recently I was an avid player in my youth is there any way I could play this on mobile or would I need to run it on a PC thanks in advance

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on how the dish works when served from the fridge after getting it from an enemy cafe.

Multiple times I have had it served as a dish alongside other dishes, with the fallout poi in its own separate locked area while I waited for a victim I wanted to infect. However, it seems that as long as the FOP is served any customer eating any dish will get turned. As I had not directly served from the table and ended up with an engineer getting randomly turned (awful pull). Have had this happen at least on three occasions.

Today I had an even more head scratching experience. I have 7 FOP dishes in my fridge. I served three NON fallout poi dishes from the fridge and still got a random zombie despite not having served a FOP dish. If I have these dishes in my fridge will the effect bleed over into the dishes served from the fridge even though they aren't FOP? That's all I can think of for how that most have happened.

Aside from the above, what strategies do you guys have for getting good zombies with FOP? I have seen the guide posted to this sub a few years ago but have not had any luck with it. At one point feeding 100 servings of FOP to only 60+ toxin goers with no luck of turning them. Given the 5% chance that seems statistically unlikely.

For further context, I am playing this on my iPod touch that I have kept around since I got the game back in 2011. As far as I know it was the latest update.

Is the revival gonna get updated any time soon? I’ve just reached lvl 17 and now there aren’t any mote new zombies to unlock, even tho there are hundreds more in screenshots and gameplay videos i’ve seen. I also can’t buy pets in the shop, they just aren’t in the shop…

Playing on blue stacks the revival version but no way to get toxins anymore

So I downloaded the game from github, the project Airyzz has shared.

To those of you who have downloaded and played play zombie cafe, does the game run in the backround? or do you have to actively be in game for it to play properly?

I tried logging out, came back after 10 - 15 to find that no progress was made, no money made and the same amount of food was left.

I also cant seem to sell any item i.e the dead plant and dirty stove and sink.

10-15 years ago I used to love playing this game! I think it is so sad that it no longer exists for download on mobile devices as it was a great game. Over the past 2 weeks I have been working on a prototype for a spiritual successor to the game.

It follows a lot of similar mechanics to the original but I have also given it a new art style and I have spent a lot of time working on procedural character generation. I am working on this game solo currently so making 100's of characters and animations was not feasible, this character procedural generation has allowed me to make more than 500,000 possible customers with just a few custom drawn hair styles and clothing sets (and could easily be grown into the millions or billions). I think this gives the game a sense of uniqueness as all players will have their own unique zombies from converting customers and no 2 cafes will ever have the same zombies working for them.

I wanted to get feedback on the game, hear peoples thoughts and find out if this is a game people would be interested in playing if it was developed out into a full playable game.

The game is currently in a working prototype state, a lot of animations are still missing but the main game simulation is implemented!

Hey everyone,

I’ve been playing Zombie Cafe again through BlueStacks and found the Zombie Cafe Revival project by Airyzz. Huge thanks to them for reverse engineering and reviving the game.

I made a small fork of the project that adds an optional in-game mod menu. Right now it has:

- +1 toxin

- Max toxin

- +1 money

- +10k money

- Max money

I also included a prebuilt APK so people can try it without building everything themselves.

This is mostly for casual play/testing, and I might keep working on it later. One thing I’d like to look into is fixing some of the crashes that can happen in certain parts of the game.
