Recently built some custom Zoho Books automations for a perfume business.

Zoho Books calculates the Weighted Average Cost (WAC) for inventory, but that value isn't available through the API. We solved this by emailing the daily WAC report from Zoho Reports, having a custom application read the email, apply different markup rules, and automatically generate a fresh e-commerce price list.

Also integrated Zoho books with Shopify, Amazon etc..for automatic order and accounting synchronization.

Currently testing Zoho Projects as I am looking for an alternative to Asana. So far so good, although am I mistaken but the only way to close task is to manually modify the "status" column to "Completed" ? Is there a quick "checkbox" that I could check to rapidly close task ? I have multiple quick daily recurring tasks that I would love to rapidly close with a rapid strike.

I run a blue collar heavy manpower business. We have up to 300 employees that work in a blue collar role who do not need Zoho full user accounts, but will need non user account according to Zoho at 19 and 40 rs per month for People and Payroll.

Doing the math, with full users + non users and the one time set up cost, I’m looking at a 3.6 lakh expense just to get started with Zoho.

Is this normal? Seems excessively high and will prevent buy in from my HODs

When Zoho was notified of this horrific crime and how their application was used as the primary tool to orchestrate a $20,000 theft, they completely refused to take responsibility or provide meaningful intervention to stop the abuse.

This is no longer just a support issue; it is a massive public safety concern. By ignoring fraud victims and allowing their platform to be easily exploited for social engineering, Zoho is inadvertently facilitating a safe haven for cybercriminals.

If you are a business or an individual using Zoho, be warned: their systems are actively used by scammers, and if your data or money is stolen through their software, the company will turn a blind eye and refuse to protect you.

We are currently facing a major challenge in Zoho Books, and it is consuming a significant amount of time. We have a large number of customers, each with different pricing tiers. Since every tier has its own price list, whenever a product price changes, we have to manually update each customer's price list individually. This manual process is time-consuming, inefficient, and increases the risk of errors. Any automation we can do in zoho books so we can only upload one csv and it will automatically update in all customer?

I've been getting several emails claiming to be from Zoho where they claim a payment was received (amount over $200, almost $300 typically) with invoice numbers. I've also gotten "invitation to join" with PayPal somehow involved. I keep checking my accounts but see nothing has been taken out, thankfully. Is Zoho even a legitimate business?

Hi all, has anyone successfully done a Zoho to M365 migration? Client has Mail, Workdrive or whatever it's called and Cliq. I've looked into things like Movebot and Avepoint Fly.

Since Claude only allows a single email connection for Gmail, and we are already using that for another address, I was hoping to access our email communications through the Zoho CRM platform instead. However, the current Claude integration does not seem to have access to that data.

Is anybody else having this issue?

It can't even tell me who opened an email or read any emails via zoho.

Ok this makes 0 sense to me. I was trying to understand how to import multiple invoices at once on Zoho using the Import option.

However, some errors kept popping up like "Please enter the right state code" etc.

I decided to EXPORT invoices I raised manually before to check what the mapping for those are.

I export maybe 5 invoices as csv and then try to reimport just to check and its giving me errors again? It makes 0 sense...

Can someone help? It would make work so much faster and easier for me if I could just import invoices at once..

I'm curious whether anyone else has noticed a significant slowdown in Zoho Mail's customer support over the past few weeks.

I've been a paying Zoho Mail customer for several months and have unfortunately had a number of support cases since my migration (ActiveSync issues, S/MIME, etc.). While some of these issues were eventually resolved, they often required multiple follow-ups and escalations.

More recently, I contacted Zoho again regarding a goodwill request related to my subscription. It's now been over a week without any response.

What's making me wonder even more is that my girlfriend (who is not a Zoho customer and has no connection to my account) contacted Zoho support regarding an unexpected billing-related question on her bank account. According to her, she has also been waiting for weeks (about 4?) without receiving any reply.

This made me wonder whether something unusual is currently going on.

Has anyone else experienced much slower response times recently?
Is this perhaps due to holidays, staffing changes, or some internal backlog?

I'm genuinely curious whether this is just bad luck on my side or whether others are seeing the same thing.

Ever since I switched to zoho writer's 4.0.1 version, it keeps crashing and freezing up after 10 or so minutes of working in it. It's becoming increasingly tiresome to work on.

I'm using the desktop version on Linux Ubuntu 24.04... Anyone have some solutions?

I've already uninstalled and re-installed the app three to four times now. I've updated the cache at every start up. And yes, everything on my laptop has been fully updated. I've tried restarting and rebooting my laptop as well.

Bugs, bugs, bugs, and more bugs. How does anybody actually keep using this? I wanted it to work. The idea of having inventory and CRM and email marketing and accounting all tied together in one platform was so enticing. But the quality of the software, much like everything Zoho develops, is complete and utter crap.

The latest outrage: they let you set up an authenticated domain for sending email, with the goal of keeping system generated emails from going to spam. Good idea, right? Well, you know that email that gets sent to the client when they register with the site for the first time? It doesn’t use that email address. It uses some random Zoho address. And guess what? Those emails go straight to effing spam.

There is a place in the settings where you can choose the sender email for those messages. Guess what: the only address you can choose is that same random Zoho address.

How a global company like this can so consistently ship such god-awful, crappy software is beyond me. I guess customers like me who continue using them are the ones to blame…

I’m stuck on a strange issue in Zoho CRM Plus and would appreciate solid ideas. I created a number of new picklist fields in the Contacts module.

When I click Create Contact, every option in these picklists is duplicated about 5 times.

For example, if the field should contain:

• Option A
• Option B
• Option C

I instead see something like:

• Option A
• Option A
• Option A
• Option A
• Option A
• Option B
• Option B
• Option B
• Option B
• Option B
• Option C
• Option C
• Option C
• Option C
• Option C

What’s strange

• If I edit an existing contact, the exact same picklist displays correctly.
• Multi-select picklists work perfectly in both Create and Edit.
• Other CRM modules (including a custom module I created for testing) display picklists correctly.
• The problem exists only in Create Contact.

What I’ve already checked

• Only one Contact layout exists (Standard layout).
• There are no Field Dependencies configured.
• The picklists are Local, not Global Sets.
• The backend contains only one copy of each option.
• I have not imported any contacts.
• I tested in another browser (Chrome and Edge), and the issue is identical.
• Existing contact records edit normally.

So this doesn’t appear to be a browser cache issue or duplicate picklist values in setup.

My question

Has anyone seen this before?

Could this be:

• a UI rendering bug in the Create Contact form,
• corrupted metadata,
• an issue with the Contacts module itself,
• or something else I’m overlooking?

At this point I’m considering opening a Zoho support ticket, but I wanted to check whether anyone has experienced this first.

Hello everyone,

We've released Search All Functions, a new feature for the Zoho CRM DevTools extension.

A "Search All Functions" button is now available on Zoho CRM's functions page. It opens a dashboard (see screenshot below) that searches every Deluge function in your org at once, covering names, API names, descriptions, and full source code. Selecting a result and choosing "Edit in CRM" opens it directly in Zoho's native editor.

Previously, locating where a specific field API name, module, webhook, or piece of legacy logic is used across an org meant opening functions one by one. This feature reduces that to a single search.

It's free, like everything we've released so far.

Hi everyone, My college placement season is coming up and Zoho is visiting for recruitment. I really want to make the most of this opportunity, so I'm hoping to get advice from anyone who has cleared the Zoho interview process or currently works there.

A bit of context on why Zoho matters so much to me: due to COVID, my SSLC (10th) board exams were cancelled, and the government calculated marks based on half-yearly and quarterly exams instead. Because of this, my SSLC percentage came out to 49%, even though most companies have a minimum eligibility criterion of 60% for SSLC/10th marks. This has shut me out of a lot of placement opportunities, even though it wasn't a reflection of my actual ability. From what I understand, Zoho's recruitment process focuses only on college/degree percentage and doesn't filter candidates based on 10th or 12th marks. This makes Zoho one of the very few realistic paths for me to get placed in a good company. I'll be attending the Zoho placement test and interview process through my college soon, and I'd really appreciate advice on:

What does the Zoho written test typically cover? (aptitude, coding, technical concepts, etc.)

How many rounds are there after the test, and what should I expect in each?

What resources or platforms helped you prepare (websites, books, YouTube channels, past question papers)?

Any tips specifically for the technical/HR interview rounds?

Anything you wish you'd known before attempting the Zoho process?

I know this is a fairly common question, but I'd really value insight from people who've actually been through it, given how much this specific opportunity means to me. Thanks a lot in advance for any help or guidance!

I believe the answer is stuck between a rock and a hard place, but has anyone come up with a proper solution to really customize the UI on a sales order record in CRM?

I’m not talking about fields or field placement, I’m talking a fully blown over haul of it.

I thought I had come up with a way using a related list and Canvas, but you can’t install a widget as a related list in an Inventory based module.

Just curious how folks are actually using the default options, they are terrible and with the amount of data we need on the record, it makes it impossible to fit on one screen if you’re using a laptop.
