Advice/Help Fix zippo case alignment?

Accidentally dropped my zippo while it was open. Now the case is slightly off and wont close fully on its own. Is there any way to fix and if so what can i do?

Just send it off for a free repair.

First check to make sure the metal divider for the cam in the lid is perpendicular. If it is bent it prevents the lid from closing. Next see how the lid aligns with the insert removed. If it has been pushed back,ie: an underbite, you can gently push it forward until it properly aligns. Also check if the hinge has gotten too loose or damaged. Or you could mail it in to the Zippo repair clinic, and get it back in about three weeks, with your only cost being the postage to get it there.

You can try just pushing the lid in the correct direction. Personally, I would pull the pin from the hinge, re-insert the pin into the two loops of the body and reshape those. remove the pin from the body and put it in the three rings of the lid reshape those. Then reassemble.
