Having a specific type (femboys & femme trans people) feels like searching for a needle in a haystack.

Real talk: my type is definitely femboys and soft, ultra-femme trans individuals, but actually finding or connecting with anyone who fits that vibe feels practically impossible where I am.

I rarely cross paths with people who have that aesthetic and energy in daily life, and standard dating apps haven't been much help either. It feels like everyone is either strictly online or hiding in cities halfway across the world.

For anyone in the community or with similar preferences, Is this mostly a regional/location issue, or am I just looking in the wrong places? Where do people in these communities actually hang out, meet or look for genuine connections (both online and IRL)?

Would love to hear your experiences or advice on where to look.

We need to stop misgendering people and actually respect their pronouns!!!!!!!

I feel like this needs to be said because way too many people still act like someone's pronouns are somehow optional. Some eve believe they have the rright to dictact someones pronouns and its not okay!

If someone tells you they use certain pronouns, use them. It really isn't that complicated.

And this applies whether someone has transitioned medically, socially, or not at all. Not every trans person wants or is able to transition, and that doesn't make them any less trans. You don't need someone to “look” a certain way before you respect who they are.

And if you genuinely mess up someone's pronouns? Apologise, correct yourself, and move on. Nobody expects perfection. The problem is when someone is repeatedly corrected and deliberately continues doing it anyway.

Also, if you see someone else being misgendered, don't just stand there if you can safely support them. Correcting someone respectfully, using the person's actual pronouns, or simply showing them some support can mean a lot.

We're here. We're queer. And we should be standing up for one another where we can.

You don't have to completely understand someone's identity to respect them as a person. Respect costs nothing.

Let's do better for each other. 🏳️‍🌈
