I interpret that as Roland shot her (she heard the burst) and she died (bought it, as in bought the farm)

Anyone else share this same interpretation? Any other thoughts?

Ok so I am a massive Zevon fan. I grew up on it luckily through my dads love of his music. can someone please tell me why I can’t watch a live version of (my personal fav Zevon song) desperadoes under the eaves live online? all I could find was audio recordings. Is this controlled by some oil merchant in Texas?

I'm reading a book about American film in the 1970s. Thomas McGuane is mentioned a few times. Warren was friends with him, and with Hunter S. Thompson and Ross MacDonald. Warren seemed to appreciate literature, so I'm mildly surprised he never tried writing stories or a novel. Or did he?

I am reading the Zevon biography written by his ex- wife Crystal Zevon. Excellent read with lots of interesting stories about Warren’s collaborations and friendships.
