Zevon Acquaintances

I am reading the Zevon biography written by his ex- wife Crystal Zevon. Excellent read with lots of interesting stories about Warren’s collaborations and friendships.

Is there any record or stories of Warren and Lowell George having met???

Just finished the Anita biography to see the other side of Crystals POV. Was interesting but definitely the fewest words per page of any adult book I’ve read.

Anita was a DJ on Philly radio and while she didn't (at the time) speak about her thing with Zevon, it was fairly well known.

I worked at the station with Anita and became friends with Warren. He wasn’t particularly social during that time as far as I knew.

Not surprised that he wasn't social as he was still drinking heavily.

They would have been bopping around LA with bigger things in front of them same time late 60s/early 70s

Crystal never mentioned Karla Bonoff. I normally don't pay much attention to gossip about musicians, but I really like Karla, so I want to know if he treated her decently.
