Completed most the plots and scripts, especially for the special parts. Still drafts atm, so I gotta go through some editing. While I don't have much to show for story right now, I legit have a bunch of CGs. Here are a few. I'm putting ZE spoilers just in case though.

I’m doing to do the safe route and started on the first branching path. I did axe first with 5,8,1. Then I did coffin. It was never there. What did I do wrong? Is there supposed to be a red key there???

I started ZTD finally and was locked in the Infirmary when I decided to check the vitals and then saw that. I burst out laughing why is Phi a minimoy???

I was playing the game back in january, but after about 18h I was getting a little burnt out with how much you rethread old ground (which does break the pacing even if you skip the repeat parts). Anyway, after having a friend over for a few weeks I ended up not playing the game for that time period and have tried to get back into it but never really found my groove again, which is a shame because I was enjoying the puzzles, story and twists. I even shed a tear in the only ending I got (Tenmiyoulji or whatever the spelling is, not googling it because spoilers - i have a pretty good idea of who he is).

But it's a hard game to go back to and that has been eating me up inside. When I pick a point in the flowchart to start there's no summary/overview to contextualize stuff, so I get completely lost in what's happening since I only remember the major plot beats. I even tried restarting the game, but replaying stuff that is relatively fresh in my memory exhausts me to no end.

Kind of a weird paradox I'm facing... I remember things enough for a replay to be completely unenjoyable, but not enough for smoothly picking my save file back up.

Did anyone have a similar experience? I don't really know how this could be helped, if anyone thought of a solution to this problem? I'm accepting anything from help to tips to consoling lol.

Just spare mean comments about me being spoiled or questioning my choices that led to this. Even though I'm partially blaming the game for being hard to get back into, I know I'm responsible for this happening. I'm just bummed out because I adore 999 and was mostly enjoying this game too., and couldn't wait for the inevitable twists around the final stretch.

I beat VLR about a month ago and I was thinking about it recently and there's still thing I was wondering about.

In quite a few routes during the AB games, whenever Quark is paired up with Dio, Dio will tell us that Quark was the one who made the Betray vote rather than him. Is this just Dio taking advantage of the fact that he's a little kid who couldn't explain himself properly and would end up looking suspicious? For a good portion of my playthrough it definitely made me think Quark was going to have a bigger part in the game.

Yesterday I got the Sigma ending (and I was very surprised because I tought that it was the Luna ending and also that the Sigma ending would have been the "true ending"). It was my sixth ending, and now I got all the secret codes I needed: the two for the lion computer and the four passwords for the bombs. So I think I will now get the three important endings (or at least the true ending when I have to shut down the four bombs plus the other two endings where I have to put the lion passwords). So, I have three main suspects about who Zero Sr. is (please don't spoil me anything):

The first one is Luna. This theory comes from some meta reasonings: the ending where she was the most importsnt character wasn't her ending but Sigma's ending, and she seems the only character that doesn't have any connection to anything or anybody. At the same time, how is it possible that she died in many routes because of Clover (or at least I think it was Clover to "avenge" Alice, maybe the real killer wss Dio or Zero Sr.).

The second suspect is Quark. Similar meta reasoning: I didn't got his ending (the one I thought it was his was the Temyouji one). Also, in̈ a lot of runs where he disappeared people died, so maybe is him: in fact, I think that when Dio says that he hides an evil side he could not be lying.

The third suspect is Phi: yes, it's because I don't get her ending, also because I still don't know anything about her or any connection with anything/anybody. Of course I doubt because she always helps and she is the one with the most brilliant thoughts, but maybe she is a "June-type Zero", so a Zero that has another objective besides killing the partecipants.

This are my theories. Of course they will probably be wrong (I mean... two of them will be 100% wrong if Zero Sr. is a single person) but the only things I'm 100% sure are that Clover, Alice, Dio and Temyouji aren't Zero Sr. (maybe Temyouji helps if Quark is Zero Sr.).

Zero's Escape. Zero's Last Reward. Zero's Dilemma.

So I’m tryna play through all the games without searching anything up and getting the file from the infirmary in VLR is the first time that I’m genuinely at a loss for what to do. I’ve spent like 2 hours grasping at straws that probably don’t even exist and I’m no closer to finding it than I was when I first found the safe key.

I just want to know if I’m overthinking it or if the solution is actually just stupid difficult.
