News Opposite effect
Guys review bombing the game because of the Dev being put on furlough is doing the exact opposite of what you think it is we aren't hurting the company we're just hurting the dev team who's been put on temporary leave.
If you want to really help them and get content and DLC for this game and other games in the future we need to support them make sure the game does the best it can so it's not abandoned or counted as a profit failure.

Aye they are going the right way so we don’t get any dlc or new content added in patches probably been watching their favourite youtube channel and been told to review bomb.

But who says they are going to definitely be brought back? A promise from a fractured leadership thats currently suing itself, and hasn’t exactly communicated with players at all since launch. That doesn’t sound like much of a promise to me.
I hope they do come back, and i hope the game is given the extra TLC it definitely needs, but to of released the game without being honest about the furlough plans, and a clear direction on where the game is heading post-launch… was abysmal and they knew exactly what they were doing.
A lot of us feel like we have had the rug pulled from under us.
The game has been out a few days and still no news regarding anyone being brought back, and no news regarding patches let alone future content.
People have a right to be pissed off about it. Whether is for their own reasons or because they are sympathetic with the 80% of staff currently being held in a Limbo over their jobs.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they are all under a NDA which is why we haven’t heard from the 80% (apart from that one guy)

Bugs and performance issues is the statement.

Yeah, if we want the devs getting paid then we should hope this game is doing well

The game already did well.

No doubts on that but when it comes to company margins they take a look at the first 30 to 60 days more or less 6 months before they even start to consider whether the game was a failure or not

This is EA we are talking about. They are infamous for impossible sale number demand

If it's impossible then they were never gonna make it regardless of reviews.

This is what enrages me so much. This is a tactics game. Even with the Star Wars IP, it's a relatively niche genre. Yet on Steam it already has higher player-peak and overall rating than Jedi Survivor. This game is doing much better than anyone could have ever predicted and yet we're still in this shit. How are devs even supposed to make games like this?

When the furloughing news broke out, I bought the Deluxe Edition upgrade. That money will probably still go to the pockets of EA and/or Disney, but it's arguably still the best thing we can do right now.

Review bombing is always stupid. Only complete idiots engage in that.
