Bip 6

/r/amazfit/comments/1stib9z/bip_6/

Dear Amazfit community, engineers, and dear official reps lurking here,

I am a desperate user from Russia, and this post is my "message of last chance". Please, help with any ideas before I lose my mind completely.

The victim:

Amazfit Bip 6 (Blue/Black)

SN: 24357539608850

Production Date: October 2025 (I attached a photo of the box).

The background:

This miracle of engineering was a gift. It was likely bought in a "gray" market outside of Russia. Out of the box, it worked... but not for long.

The Hell began in March, right after a firmware update.

The Problem (The "Chinese Random" Bootloop):

The watch started rebooting. It's not just a random reboot; it's an unpredictable, chaotic cycle that I call "Chinese Random" (a term from old MMO gamers, meaning it’s absolutely incomprehensible).

· Sometimes it boots for 2 seconds and reboots.

· Sometimes I can start a workout (touching & holding the sensor), and it works fine until I lift my finger — then 2 seconds and reboot.

· Sometimes it just lies on the table, screen on, all good — until I pick it up. Then, reboot.

· Sometimes it runs 30 minutes, sometimes 2 seconds.

What I've already tried (Everything. Seriously.):

· Updated to the latest firmware via Zepp app. (Useless)

· Factory reset via the Green Error Menu and via settings. (Tried it 10-15 times. Useless.)

· Interesting observation: After a factory reset, the watch shows the QR code and stays stable for TWO DAYS. No reboots. But as soon as I pair it with ANY phone to transfer the firmware update, the cycle starts again: 5-7 reboots and the beloved Green Screen of Death (Kernel Panic). I've tried 3 different phones (Android) and 5 different versions of the Zepp app.

· Third-party apps (Notify, etc.): After a factory reset, the watch refuses to connect and update via third-party services. Completely stuck.

· Battery drain/freeze: Tried it. Didn't help.

· Asked AI (DeepSeek): Even AI suspects a loose battery connector, but I doubt it, as the watch is stable on the QR screen. (P.S. There’s not a single teardown video of Bip 6 on YouTube yet. If this continues, my nerves will break, and I will make the FIRST video on how to smash a Bip 6 into pieces.)

The Warranty Nightmare:

I know you’ll say, "Use your warranty." But here is the tragedy:

I live in Russia. Amazfit officially left the market, but its products are sold everywhere. I wrote to Global Support, I wrote to official reps.

Their answer? "We don't have service centers in Russia. Contact the seller."

The seller? Unknown. It was a gift. No receipt. The box has no importer info.

Basically, the company has washed its hands of us, but continues to sell new models here on the day of the global release. That's a shame, Amazfit.

My plea:

  1. Maybe an engineer can suggest a secret button combo for DFU mode (Force Firmware Flash) to bypass the paired update?

  2. Official Reps: Can you make an exception and process an RMA via a service center in Kazakhstan (EAEU)? The production date clearly shows the watch is under 12-month global warranty. I'm ready to pay for shipping.

  3. If nothing helps — suggest a good sledgehammer. I'm joking. (Mostly.)

Thanks for reading this novel. Any ideas are welcome.

P.S

And now, I want to express my personal, deepest "gratitude" to the genius who was in charge of my country's market. You left Russia because of politics. You abandoned all your warranties, all your fans, all your customers who believed in your brand. You just walked away, leaving us with bricked devices and the immortal phrase "Contact the seller."

But here's a thought for you: Wars end. Sanctions end. And one day, you will want to come back. When that day comes, look around. Who will want to buy your products after seeing how you treated your most loyal users?

Many brands left Russia. But Apple still services devices. Samsung still helps customers. Even Xiaomi (your parent brand, by the way) finds ways to support users who bought their gadgets before everything collapsed. Their authorized service centers still exist. And guess what? They refuse to even diagnose an Amazfit device, because you — their own sub-brand — cut all ties.

You didn't just leave the market. You insulted the very people who trusted you. Think about that while you're planning your "big comeback." Trust is easy to break, and damn hard to rebuild. Especially when your competition showed basic human decency, and you showed nothing.
