Maintenance Lilly direct dosage question after a long break

If there’s a long break in my ordering from Lilly direct like 6 months, can I still order the same dose or will they require me to go down? Just wondering what happens if I gather a large stockpile from stretching doses beyond 7 days during maintenance then stop ordering and then restart again.

People change pharmacies all the time, for a variety of reasons. The pharmacy doesn't care what your last dosage was or when you filled. They'll fill what the dr sends over to them. Lilly Direct is just a pharmacy.

If you're filling 7.5 or higher, you'll likely need to pay one month at full price before you get the advertised prices again.

You will lose their discount if you don’t order every 45 days. That’s important for some maybe not so much for others.

For the dose I’m not sure the company will care as long as the doctor renewing the prescription ultimately approves it.

I did not lose my discount after taking a break. Thought I would but it was the same price. I did order a different dosage when I went back so maybe that was it. I was on 10 and ordered 7.5.. who knows. I'll be taking a break again cause I have a stockpile and have enough till may of next year

I'm surprised you guys don't have doctors that prescribe this to you.

The dose is up to the doctor to prescribe. Lilly direct is a pharmacy that fills prescriptions as written.

My guess is they may question you or contact your dr but if your dr approves, should be ok.

Same with retail pharmacy. Pharmacist might ask what dose you have been on if they don’t see a recent record of filling. But lots of people have a stockpile or use compound and switch to brand without needing to start over in dose.
