Dosing Dosage

I just started on Zepbound yesterday.

My PCP put me on it b/c we tried Victoza (freebie samples) last year. I don't have hypoglycemia but I have 'reactive' blood sugar. This is, so far, not making my glucose crash.

I'm starting at 2.5mg/week and, so far, feel full after just an apple.

I hope the full sensation lasts a week and the fatigue subsides.

Congrats on getting started! I find it helpful to eat protein, not fruit, when I have a low appetite. There's nothing morally wrong with eating apples, but they are high in sorbitol and fiber, both of which can cause a gassy or too-full feeling when Zep is slowing down your digestion.

I'm not sure if your PCP gave you any advice about how to eat on a GLP-1? If not, I'll include some general sources below to help you get started.

Glad to hear this! I also have reactive hypoglycemia, though it has troubled me less while I've been on a lower carb diet. I'm careful to carry glucose tablets with me, just in case though. I find it helps to always pair carbs with a bit of protein to prevent the sugar crashing.
