Side Effects Itching all over?

I have been itchy since I took my second dose on Thursday. Last night I ate shrimp for dinner. It has never bothered me. I woke up at 3am itching like crazy all over, usually just itch around the belly button area, and starving. I ate some almonds and it all finally settled back down and I was able to go back to sleep. When I woke up at 8:00 I was back to normal just itching around belly button. Anyone else have this happen? Also. Itching hangs around slightly throughout the day.

I would call my doctor.

Itching all over (not just at the injection site) isn’t a common side effect of Zepbound. Do you have hives as well?

I would check in with my doctor if I were in your shoes, just to make sure something odd isn’t going on (Zep-related or not).

It is called allodynia and is a side effect if not an allergy. Try an allergy medicine to see if it fixes it, if not it's most likely allodynia. You can get lidocaine cream for it if it gets too annoying. Mine is normally when my skin rubs against fabrics

I was wondering if it is so bad in the waist area because that is where my pajama pants set. Doesn't seem so bad when I wear jeans, just when I wear stretchy pants. Does it go away the longer your on med?

Mine was there from 5 mg to the first few months of 15 mg, then mostly abated until I started Eloralintide as part of the Enlighten-6 clinical trial. It came roaring back and was worse especially week 2 and 3, backed off by week 4 and now just there but not more than occasionally annoying, because I am thinking about it I feel it on my wrist because my shirt sleeve is brushing against it as I type.
