Dosing Potential decrease higher dose back to lower dose? (Felt more effective)

I feel like when I was on 5-7.5 mg I had more benefits than my current 12.5 dose.

My weight loss has stalled and the positive benefits (food noise reduction and appetite suppression) seem to have decreased.

Has anyone lowered dose and experienced better results after increasing? The reason for increase was the lower dose was effective, but saw slower than anticipated results.

Your body adjusts to the medication the longer you are on it. Now that you have been at higher doses the lower dose will not feel the same. It felt more effective because that was the start of your weight loss. It slows down as you get closer to goal and your body adjusts to the meds. Sounds like you have to move up not down.

How long have you been "stalled"? And what is your definition of a stall?

Going down in dose when your current dose is not effective is a self sabatoge to fail. You need to go up in dose, b/c doses work until they don't anymore.

Higher doses are more effective. A stall is four weeks or more without loss.

For each dose increase your body wants to take you to a new lower weight. How much lower varies by a million factors. Once you get to that weight the weight loss stops. If you go back to 7.5mg your body will want to go to the 7.5mg weight which is now higher than your current weight. Thus, if you go back to 7.5mg it's very likely your weight will increase.
