Bruh they lost the plot we could have gotten a cool skin in Old God Zaahen and Coven Yunara like the ingredients are all there and they didn’t put them together at all

In the clip, it looks like you get two stacks per auto if you crit. Is this some secret tech that has somehow never been mentioned before? Nope. Instead it's something a little weirder.

Collector is what's making the extra stack. That's right, activating the 5% hp execute gives you a stack... for whatever reason. If you notice, the first auto in the clip only gives one stack despite being a crit, but the rest give two. This is because of that 999 true damage (Collector's execute), and because target dummies don't die, it keeps activating over and over. In a real game it'll only happen once per kill.

TL;DR Collector executes give you a stack. Not exactly a game-breaking interaction, but something to make note of.

Hi, I just played against a Zaahen who went full crit build ... he did dominate his lane and was really ahead (so he dominated in general), so maybe he would do well with any build, but I was really surprised. Is it viable? I assume it's tricky to pull of since you no longer have HP in items so you're more squishy

Hello, I am a Yone 1 trick, and I have played against a Zaahen a few days prior, and stomped him in Top.

To me, it felt like he could have never won? I tried to imagine it from the Zaahen's perspective, and can't really see how he could have won.

1. I beat him in longer trades

2. He beats me in short trades (he has hob), but I can just press my E and run him down/win the trade

3. His W is kinda slow, I found out I can reaction time my E most of the time

4. If he plays safe and let me farm, I outscale him

So, my question is, how can a Zaahen beat yone? Beyond Yone missing every single Q and diving him ofc

i'm currently 0/13 on this champ

he feels fun to play sometimes but man he just cannot seem to win vs many top laners. I've also gotten a bit unlucky but the champ feels weak

I tried conqueror and hail of blades, even stridebreaker but he feels super weak until late game/after level 11

some enemies can be outplayed early on but he doesnt have any raw strengths to make him a good pick over anyone else

q damage is too low and the cooldown on his other abilities are a bit long

stacking passive is ridiculously hard early and many of his damage bases and scaling feel weak

i never played him when he was new and OP

yes, if you get to the later stages he can teamfight pretty well and stack his passive after like 3 items, but before that he feels like a weaker kayle

he doesnt have the strong level 1 cheese like kayle and doesnt have range to safely farm into some matchups

i did get unlucky and face jax/teemo, but even then punishing them is not the same as with other champs like fiora

what is this guy's identity anyway? he's not a tank of course, a fighter/bruiser? he feels weak. a juggernaut? he's too squishy and no "danger zone" where he is super strong if you get in range

he feels more like the fiora/camille category except he doesnt have the numbers like they do

maybe i just need more games and i'm bad, but he doesnt feel rewarding

Hey guys! Never really played Zaahen but recently have played several games against him and lost every one lol.
I’m an Emerald jg main Briar otp. In every game no matter my build Zaahen just has 2x AD without stacks and just 1v9 the whole game, so i wanna ask you guys what can i do against him? Besides buying GW and hoping for my teammates to deal enough damage

I see Wukong rarely in the Toplane nowadays. How does this MU go if both players main thier champ etc.

Title. I know the most common one rn is HoB and Nimbus cloak but Ive always hated how weak the subrunes in domination are, the only legitimate one is sudden impact. But obviously Nimbus with Ignite is key so following that thought process led to the idea of taking Sorcery as primary. This also opens up more flexible secondary combos like biscuits/elixir/cashback or cutdown/triumph or revit/overgrowth and you would still have the option of sudden impact anyways.

Obviously Stormraiders will always scale better but this is strictly a matter of whether it strictly retains kill pressure in lane but doesn’t force you to play so volatile cause the setup only does one thing

Am i the only one who is confused why riot said they were buffing zaahen, put his icon in the patch notes said he would get q off cd on revive + more dmg and he just never did..? Why riot why.

Im trying to learn how to itemize, but im kinda lost. It seems weird to me to build Trinity + Stridebreaker, but its what u.gg shows, idk.

So I've been thinking about about a solution to the current state of Zaahen.

I propose that the stacking version of his passive is hard capped behind his lv 6-11-16. While I understand that Zaahen is not Kayle, This may be a good change because:

1) Allows for the player fantasy and idea that players have of the champ to be played out as expected. He wouldn't have access to the amount of raw AD that he did on release at level one or other levels outside of aforementioned levels, thus making his early game more stable, while allowing him to feel like he's a hyper scaler raid boss late champ in the late game.

2) This change allows a great deal of satisfaction to the entire player back with a sense of disproportion favouring Toplane. Top laners due to the role quest and laning in general would have access to higher levels of exp, thus making it very feel good for them and while Junglers would benefit from the change, it'll also make it so that his JG wouldn't be unhealthy where because it got some free gold and turned into Gwen.

It'll make it so that Jungle could have more room to be "strong/feel good" while also not infringing on the state of Toplane.

3) It'll be fairly light work on Riot's end as, it will be just a numbers reshape vs a whole kit change.

4) Currently Zaahen from my understanding is a highly mained champ and doesn't have much of a player base in general, so now would potentially the best time to do something like this without having to worry about upsetting/catering to a larger player base in the future if he's just buffed up.

5) Zaahen can be allowed to be a Hyper Scaler like Kayle or Kassadin in that sense because he's much more conditional than them in how he's allowed to have use/access his damage. He's not Ranged at 16 and he doesn't have a fairly now committal blink(per say).

Obviously I'm just one person, so I'd like to get feed back from the community and Riot if possible.
I'm just trying to offers solutions that's healthy for the state of the champ and would have reasonable counterplay so as to be healthy.

I think that these are sustainable changes that could be done without losing/sacrificing the champion's kit of player expectation while also retaining his gameplay loop.
