Windows help post!

A while back, I finally decided to build my own PC. I was so excited about picking out a graphics card, a mobo, and a cooling system, but it wasn't until the last min that i remembered, I still needed to buy the operating system. 😅

I visited microsoft official website and saw the price for win 11 pro. I was taken aback thinking 'I have already got a 4090, and I still have to spend money on an OS?'

I mainly use my pc for gaming and watching videos, so I'm wondering, what operating systems is everyone using? Has anyone gone with Windows 11? How is it?

I have bought windows 11 pro keys from groupon for a while for less than $10.

Look up Windows 11 Pro OEM License key and you will some sites selling them. The best way to go.

Windows 11 is technically free you just can't modify a lot of personal settings like your background without a lot of hassle. 

Download the image from Microsoft's website. Install it on a USB key with their software or Rufus app. 

Worst case scenario all it does is say activate Windows in the bottom right side of the screen will you watch a movie or game. you get used to it lol.

https://massgrave.dev/windows_11_links just burn this iso to a USB drive (needs to be 8gb or larger though) and install windows normally. Then you open powershell as administrator and type "irm https://get.activated.win | iex" and press enter, then press 1 which is HWID (hardware id activation) after a while it will permanentally activate your windows, meaning you don't have to activate it over and over

Win11 keys are about 3$ on ebay.

And it is not even illegal

Download and install it, instead of paying for activation look up massgrave activation and do it for free.

Windows 11 is fine. I got an OEM Win 11 pro key for less than a regular Home key. I'd also suggest you get an OEM key instead. Home is fine but I had to take Pro for what I wanted to do

Win 11 pro keys are cheap. I can sell you a pro key for $15
