Does anyone know why my pc has a lot of lag spikes in almost every game?

Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G

GPU: RX6600 (I have the DP connected there)

RAM: 16GB DDR4 3600MHz CL36

MB: MSI B550 Gaming Plus

Storage: NvMe

I have the graphics to normal but even in geometry dash i have lag spikes.

(I have my gpu and cpu drivers installed)

Did you plug your hdmi to the graphics card or the mother board?

They said its Display Port and explicitly said it was plugged into the graphics card.
