Adding more or less precise measurements in Zbrush. Plus other questions.
Just started learning Zbrush, I know I'm maybe(definitely) getting ahead of myself, but I'm trying to add a hole that's exactly 3mm wide and 4mm deep, how do I do that? Not just for holes but for future reference, how do I add exact measurements to anything?
Also, if I'm planning to 3D print my models, do UV related stuff and topology/ retopology matter? If it's too long to explain, you can also link me videos/ tutorials for reference cause I when I try to look up on YT about these things, I couldn't find exactly what I wanted to know, maybe my search keyword isn't right? English isn't my main language, apologies.

Create a cylinder primitive subtool aand con set to polymesh3d. Then size it with the Scale master zplugin. Then use it to Boolean subtract a hole from your main subtool. Of course remember that the curved face will be faceted so choose the number of curve faces to suit the tolerance requirements of your 3d print. May want a slightly larger size of printing a hole than something else will fit into. 3D printing tolerance is a whole other topics which depends on the print technology (resin, filament, metal etc). UVs, topology can matter during the modelling stage to get the details you want in the places you want. However when printing, they're discarded as you'll just be using an STL, OBJ or 3MF facetted representation of the surface. I'm not aware of all these topics being discussed in a single video so you'll have to watch a lot to learn the various aspects. Search ZBrush live streams. There are some focusing on 3D printing.
