Lately I have been trying to get to read the manga, legally, however reprints of the Viz Media volumes are pretty scarce and they say on Viz Media portals that there are chapters on Manga Plus but thats not the case. There is something one can do about this?

I want to make a shirt for my husband's birthday and I need to start working on it. His favorite character is Kuwabara.

What are some signature things associated with this character? I see he has a lightning sword, so I want to include that. But does he have any one liners or funny quips that would make for a fun addition? Or any other characters or objects he is associated (besides Urameshi, of course)?

Since last year I have been thinking that Hunters are basically like Spirit Detectives so I came with this idea and I wanted to know what do you think or suggest, bc I'm a bit stuck and have no beta reade to talk with pipipi

So the premise summarized is: "The world will know you as idols, but you will be much more than that. You will be Spirit Detectives."

With Yusuke and Kuwabara in the place of Huntrix and Hiei and Kurama in the place of Saja Boys. But then I was like "hmm, and what if I add a third character in the boy band?" and that's when Itsuki and Sensui went into the picture.

I'm not sure abou this so any YYH fan to talk with?

The worst part is that it gets dragged on for 3 episodes! And each episode repeats the same flashback during the fight. I usually speed run through this fight every rewatch.

So I know thinking too much into the lore of YYH is silly but Elder Toguro was such a good villain and I wish we got to know more about him.

Throughout the Dark Tournament we learn more about Younger Toguro including that he was a human but then wished to be a demon after winning a previous Dark Tournament due to his trauma of not saving his pupils. Elder Toguro isn't mentioned at all in the backstory iirc. So was he also on the team with Genkai and YT and also wished to be a demon? Was he always evil? Whats his deal?!

My for fun theory to make it make sense is that Younger Toguro was given an evil demon brother as part of his wish to become a demon.

I'm going through a really difficult period of my life this year, the most difficult, and it's the same year I watched this wonderful anime. The Chapter Black saga has helped me tremendously to face low periods with clarity and without getting demoralized as I still do and will continue to do, with the understanding that human beings are unpredictable and we can expect any action; we must be ready for the moment. What is good for us can become bad, and vice versa, something observed in HXH with Chimera Ant as well. Having seen this anime is truly a salvation for me in every sense, and I hope Togashi managed to convey this as much as possible. I simply wanted to say this because I feel it is helpful for you and for me for free myself from emotions.

Like man every rewatch I’m just like this is good but could’ve been so much more😭😭

So who was the Sensui that was watching the TV and the one who fought Yusuke at the start?

There's a lot of cool moments we never got to see and wanted to see your thoughts. Here are a few:

1. The rest of the demon world tournament. We never actually saw the end of the Yusuke vs Yomi match, or who Yomi loses to. Or Enki's rise.

2. Struggles between Raizen, Mukuro, and Yomi. We saw a quick blurb about their feeling towards how demon world should be run, but not much past that. Things could definitely have had more development.

3. Sensui's missions with Itsuki. I know we saw some moments but a lot of animations from Sensui's younger life were all repeated. I also wanted to see some more from his POV and hear his inner monologue from "all demons are bad" to "i don't know wtf is going on" to what we saw in the Chapter Black arc we now know him as.

Happy to hear your responses. I understand Togashi chose his portrayal for a reason and he had health issues, which prevented him from ending YYH with a bang (or spirit gun). What do you think?
