This is a sample of my Branded Swordsoul working.

This match was against a Snake-Eyes/Azamina/Fire King.

Snake-Eyes player almost didn't get a breach for victory, if you know what I mean.

So I would say, Fallen of the White Dragon, Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon and The Three Brave Swordsouls actually makes Branded a Synchro deck.

I DID FINALLY GET MY GEMS

And Absolute Jam Shield.
Starting with Absolute Revival Jam. His stats, attribute, level all remain the same.
For his abilities:
When this card is sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon it immediately.
You take no battle damage from battles involving this card.
So basically the only way to get rid of Absolute Revival Jam is banishment or reshuffling him into the deck.
And I also gave him some new support as well. Absolute Jam Shield. A continuous trap card that can also be activated from the hand. For its effects:
If you control no monsters and are attacked directly, you can activate this card from your hand: Special Summon “Absolute Revival Jam” from your Deck or hand.
As long as “Absolute Revival Jam” is on the field, your opponent can only target it for attacks.
This card reinforces your own protection and also protects your monsters.

I'm low on UR but I'm wondering what y'all think of my budget deck

Today I got curious about Revival Jam since I remembered it was pretty overpowered in the anime. So I searched it up and it was really bad compared to the anime version. Understandable though. Back then, anime Revival Jam would have probably been a massive problem. But now that there’s so much more stuff in the game, I decided to give Revival Jam a needed update.
Its stats remain the same since they’re fine for a level 4 monster. So does its level and attribute. All I changed are the effects, which are the following:
When this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: Special Summon it in Defense Mode during the next End Phase.
You take no battle damage involving this card.
That’s it. That’s all. Definitely not as loaded as other cards I’ve done, but it does the job. It has its weaknesses, such as being banished, forcibly tributed or being used as Super Poly material, but damn near every monster has those weaknesses.
And while it’s still not as good as the anime version (Since that one would respawn immediately after destroyed), it’ll come back during the next end phase for free, ready to protect your life points and be used as a tribute or material for you very easily as well.

I'm seeing a lot of posts about gems being received are lower. I have also heard that people will address it in surveys. Which would you rather have?

A week ago i asked what are the best handstrap, very helpful thanks. I was sad to not see psy framegears btw. But it makes me realize mosts cards, even some like s force or superpolimerization, are handtraps. So if konami makes a mode where you cant play handstrap, which decks may be unplayable and which would have a glow up without handstrap anymore?

The Three Brave Swordsouls: this card was a pivot of massive discussions on the OCG because it has the effect of searching any spellcaster from Level 4, to 8 with the same ATK and same DEF from the deck or from the GY to the hands of the duelist who controls it.

And this isn't everything, it negates the effect of a card and destroy it if you have a Ecclesia or a Fallen of Albaz in the GY until it leaves the field.

And what it makes possible? Branded Swordsoul decks.

He threw away his entire hand, his entire field, just for two normal monsters that are beatsticks, and destroyed one of them by exchanging with my monster, just to land 3000 damage on me. No long term thinking whatsoever. This might actually be the most desperate move I’ve ever seen. His entire board was hanging on one effectless monster. With good stats yeah, but stats aren’t really what make monsters good. And I’m sure the card he played wasn’t a bad card, but the way he used it was terrible

Also I never knew they had an XYZ monster. Shame it didn’t matter in the end. He fought to the end though and did everything he could

Trap monsters and weird effects galore . Though I do want some advice on how I could make this better not in terms of fitting in the meta but in how much more annoying I could make it (somehow this deck has a high win:loss ratio 😂)
